Lipos are fine, but make sure you don't over discharge them. If you do, it won't charge up again anymore, like the paper-weight I have now...
It's absolutely cactus... It's got a grand total of 4V under load..

I have brought them back to life before , I hit it with a NIMH charge at about 1.5 amps for a short time then charged it normally, and it worked fine.. also have done this , ( I have a much more CTX ) , just sit there and keep pressing charge as it cuts out, my 7.4 was at like 3.8v, and every time i hit charge it would take a small amount so I just kept hitting it, and watching the voltage, surely but slowly it came up and then eventually it kept on charging, to full capacity, on another note I tried this again on another cell but it didn't take charge as the cell had dropped out completely.. So it may or may not work ....

No it won't kill the electronics, we have and still do run one of our mini T on 8.4v 7 cell nmih which peaks at about 9.6v and no damage yet , have also stuck on an 11.1v lipo with no damage to esc but we melted the endbell on the motor (losi speed) due to excessive RPM The biggest motor that I have run is an orion big block which isn't much, didn't need more as I got brushless......

i aint surprised of the endbell melting on a 3 cell lipo.....i melt my endbell every run i take it out on a 6 cell nimh thats 7.2v... lol

wen i get my brushless im gona hook up around 18 cells to the stock esc and see how fast itll go till it blows up HA!

nowi s there any difference with the castle creations mamba and the original mamba?......y is the castle creations mamba 100 bucks more?

the pro slipper actually is a slipper with metal disks and proper slipper pads and a spring...the stock slipper is 2 peices of plastic and a wave washer.....

the pro slipper is better if u want to race because its more tunable

speaking of which i got a brand new spur gear bag that has 2 60T spurs in it...if ne1 is interested pm me
