The stock esc/rx is one unit. When you go brushless, you'll need to pick up a seperate mini rx. I'd imagine that you could still use the stock tx if you wanted and just flip the crystals into the new rx.

anyone own a exotec mxb conversion for their t? theres one for sale here thats kind cool looking but i dont no much about them

so i have the stock ESC in my mini-t, could i throw in a Reedy MiniMod 19T in it w/ no problems?

I saw that too. Unique 1/18 Exotek MXB Pro Buggy / Mini-T Pro for sale Looks like its brand new and a fair deal when you add up all the parts.
