if you are looking for a great deal go with the zippy or rhino packs from hobby king. if you want the best mah to discharge rate you can get id go maxamps but you will pay out the a$$ for the maxamps compared to the hobby king stuff i really like the rhino packs they are slightly better than the zippy packs imo. an 8000kv in a mini-t is gonna be insane and hard ass hell to drive id focas on a 6000kv or less motor for a really good fast fun drivable car. but thats just my opinion.

Yea the 8000kv will only go in for when I take it to the beach with the paddles on. Otherwise Ill just be running the 5400. I have had 3 or four brushless mini ts since the project rocket ship mini first when on byt years ago. Just havnt had one in awhile so Im at a loss on what fits in and what gearing to go with. Hell if I can get 3 rhinos for the price of the maxamps then obviously I get more runtime.

All of the small mah lipos on hobby city seem to be long rather than the shape that would fit the mini t. Any ideas on which ones will fit? Wanna do a mass lipo order sometime this week for all of my trucks so I have to figure out exactly what I need.

I'm running the Flightmax 1300mah 2s and the Rhino 1050mah 2s. Both are perfect fits for the Mini-T, and the Flightmax also works in my Pro-Pulse. The Rhino is a little too fat for the PP.

Only 800mah? Really? Won't get much of a run on that will I? I forget what a good mah rating for a mini t is anymore. I mean I can buy way more than one but still.

maxamps has a 2000, but i found some turnigy 1300 for like 8 bucks so I think ill order like 4 of those and that should come out cheaper than the maxamps and give me more play time.

Almost everything at Hobbycity is a good deal, but I see that almost all of their servos have poor reviews. I have been too afraid to try them because of that.
The Hitec HS-65 series is a great replacement for stock servos. The 65HB is a cheaper alternative that is considerably stronger than stock, the 65MG is the same specs but metal gears for durability, with a bit more cost. I have both and they both work great. I have not had any serious crashes, but under normal use the plastic gear is holdind up just fine. I would have to guess the metal gear would have a better chance of survival in a bad crash. The plastic gear usually goes for about $25, metal gear $10 more.

For a power system I would look at Hobbycity because they are very good and cheap. The 18a car ESC works great, and you can pick from several motors of different speeds.

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...verse_programm.

There is the ESC.
Also consider the programming card for it as it is very nice for tuning.

The Hitec HS-55 is a direct drop in replacement for the Mini-T and there's even a Losi servo saver specifically designed for the HS-55. I got mine for $15 off Towerhobbies.

You don't mention what type of motor you have, either brushed or brushless. You may want to consider going brushless - for less than $55 shipped;

As far as an inexpensive rx/tx combo, I use the Traxxas TQ tx and the Traxxas 2216 receiver. They go as cheap as $20 for the combo on various RC forums.
