I don't actually know how to take all the slop out of the front end. I have had that problem too... I just increased the toe out on the front excessively to get it to hammer along in a straight line.
It's reasonably stable with the toe-out to, but I havent tried to experiment to take out the slop.

you can gain an additional 1/2 inch of wheelbase to your Mini-t if you do one easy, free mod. if you look at the front suspension arms, they are angled backwards or into the chassis. if you simply take them off and flip them over, they will sweep forward, and thus move the front axles forward. you will have to readjust your tie-rods to make sure your wheels point straight afterwards.

Hey guys I have been searching through here and see that the hs55 or 56 is about as big of a servo you can go without modifying the chassis but can you tell me which digital metal gear servo would fit without modification?

Rhino 1050 mah lipo and Flightmax 1300 mah lipo. Both are from HobbyCity.com and were the biggest batteries I could find that would fit the chassis without modification. The Flightmax lipos seem to have a little more punch.

My nimh basically sit in my box, but I have several Losi 1100 mah nimh. They are okay, but they really don't compare to the lipos.

Default mini t question

I need to know the size of the screws for the steering assembly on the mini t length mostly, as well as the size on the screws that go into the chassis for the transmission and their length as well.

I think there are several sizes depending on the area of the steering assembly your talking about. for the trans case the 2 closest to the back are really short, the 4 infront of that are really long and the one that holds the shock tower down is medium sized.

Grab the losi exploded view and a screw kit for $3.

Default Lipos for a mini t

Wondering what 2s lipos I can fit into my mini t. Basically the most capacity the better. No need for 3s and in all honesty zippy will be perfect as long as there is one that fits in correctly. Whats popular? I will be running the mamba system with both the 5400 and 8000 in it depending on where Im running.
