yeah i know....i want somthing small thats nitro for the power of it...im thinking bout making my mini t into a nitro ..... too much work tho lol im gona buy a small engine like a 0.9cc and a gearbox out of a 1/16 buggy and use the diff out of my 1/10 nitro dragster with the stock mini t arms and front end...mabe not the front end..i gotta plan it out 1st lol
the vulcan is pretty cool, nice that it has interchangeable parts with the kyosho mini inferno also, BUT the xray is hands down better...the xray motor rocks and is a little more friendly to tuning
but i bet that kyosho .09 sirio will be killer also
so in other words its just a nitro version of the mini inferno?
It's not a nitro version of the Mini-Inferno. The front and rear suspension was a copy of the Kyosho Mini-Inferno, therefore all the parts that was designed for the Mini-inferno will fit in the Vulcan. There's also another version of the Vulcan which is the NB-16 which was made by Acme Racing. For the Mini-Inferno, Kyosho will have it's nitro powered Mini-Inferno. It will be powered by a Sirio .09 engine (see Xtreme RC cars July 2006 issue). Another 1/16 scale buggy from Sportwerks called the Chaos. This buggy is very similar to the European model Piktor (see http://www.piktor.fr). You should also see the Xray NT18t. It is Xray MT18T coverted to nitro. It is powered by a .08 engine. The on-road version has been available since the beginning of 2006 (see http://www.teamxray.com) The Truck version was available late April... cheers,

check out my Mini-inferno (blue and white paint), NB16 1/16 Nitro buggy (white yellow and black paint) and my Xray NT18t (yellow and bllue paint). the dollar bill was used for size comparison.
BTW... another 1/16th scale truck that's coming out by the end of June is the Rascal by Shumacher. This truck is powered by a .18 size engine. Can you imagine how much power that engine would provide that tiny 9 inches long chassis? It would be awesome. It will do willies on command and a willie bar would be mandatory... only drawback, it's 2 wheel drive (see http://www.racing-cars.com)

ive seen the nitro mini inferno in the xtreme mag...its the siio 0.9cc engine and its got white plastics right?
i just need a mini engine like that sirio and i could be able to convert my mini t to nitro.......orelse ill just put a .12in it or sumthing and if that works out the net thing would be an 18tz or sumthing

The Sirio engine is not available yet, but the Xray .08 engine is now available from Xray.
The motor is porbably friggin expensive... The most crappy nitro buggy ive seen so far has been the Sportwerks Chaos, ive never seen a more crappy vehcile in my life. No foam in the tires, the ball ends looked like they would snap off in a wreck...
The Xray engine is $114. It has a slide carb & is non pull start.
Same engine in all the micro vehicles so far. Chaos is a pull start version w/rotory carb.
Chaos is a very nice little buggy. MUCH better than the Vulcan! NO foam in tires, that's true. Everything fits together much better and works well. Vulcan has that inexplicable extra shaft/gear set, like the min Inferno (WTF).
Vulcan SE weighs about a ton.
Xray NT18t is the best off-road nitro mini so far.
