I ended up putting the battery on the left side
held in place with 3m body tape, all electronics on the right side, was not able to put batt on the right side because I'm using the center servo mount (one piece mount)
did you email the pic's of your car to me?

Have you tried a thicker t-bar like the assoc .o73 or t force .078, also found a spring steel t-bar on lefthander-rc
