Hi Werner
Seems like mostly suspension related parts. I've watched your stunts on YouTube and you definitely get some big air with the car. Have you broken any driveline parts? It would awesome if other manufacturers gave you a car to beat the shit out of. A durability shootout with Werner.
Hi joeh,
the mugen is tough indeed, but I broke both front arms within minutes ! that's why I run hobao hyperstar arms front arms ( reinforced within a steel pieces ) !
I also broke a lot of shock rodends, a few steering rod ends, 2 diff box because of a hit on the shocktower, some wing mounts, i changed the rear brace for a steel tube directly fitted to the shocktower.
I also mounted a padded aluminium lipo box to get the weight more on the rear of the chassis
of course i only do some crazy jumps and learned the hard way with the mugen. the couple of times i went racing, nothing could happen to it !
I also tested a eb48.3 that is very strong stock, but didn't beat the shit out of it as long a the mugen
Do you have a list of parts that you have broken on the mugen? I'm still leading to drive and I can't believe how tuff the mbx7r Eco is I have only broken 1 front arm in 16 months of racing.
Cheers
Joe
