Yes, I still have the Bergonzoni R1 hasn't been raced in over 4yrs I really liked the buggy when I raced it but sadly it wasn't very durable I got tired of ordering parts from Raul shipping was expensive.

All I know is we went threw rod after rod on the Alpha engines. This is one reason the distributor in the usa bumped Alpha. He felt the QA was not there and we continued to have issue after issue. I was sponsored to run Alpha and I always had rods and a second engine with me.

Shouldn't be an issue with the shoes. I noticed it as well.

Like shorter life or shorter in length?

it is much heavier.. around 3.850 grs
and the battery can't be mounted up front normally
you coumd mention, easy to maintain and to get to the diffs with the bulkhead arrangement
but if I notice competition, each time the drivers seem to get into the top 3 each time, so it must be stable somehow

I won't know how fast it will be until I have it in my hands, but it seems to me it is lighter than the Kyosho and i honestly would rather the car be better for driving experience than so fast it's out of control, the point is stable speed is the key to driving fast consistent laps.

You mean the gear is stuck on the plastic part of the diff? If that's the case undo the screws a little distance and force the plastic down with your fingers while holding the metal ring gear.
