    Hey RyeRey,

In response to your inquiry about batteries, I just got an HPI Vorza Flux. I hope to run PIR soon.

When getting batteries, I would stay away from anything under 3500mAh. In fact, the Vorza recommended 2500 mAh as a minimum with the lowest C being 25. These buggies draw A-LOT of power and you don't want to cook or blow a battery at the track (or ever). Giving them enough juice will balance the heat loads across the system (ESC, batteries, motor, etc). Also, if you purchase batteries of the same mAh, you will be able to charge them in parallel (2-8 2S batteries at a time). Talk about being ready for race day! Anyway, a friend of mine who also runs a Vorza recommended the HobbyKing Turnigy batteries to me. I just ordered the following.

Turnigy 5000mAh 2S1P 7.4v 30C hardcase pack (USA Warehouse). The price is very good for this C and mAh level. I just hope the batteries themselves are as good as everyone keeps saying.

Rye Rye Sorry about not getting back faster to you. Between work and family I don't know how I find time for anything else. Hey if you would PM me your phone number if you would. I was thinking $100 for a roller. It has B Fast ceramic diff. And thrust bearings. And various replacement parts. I can give you a set of wheels and a set of mounted wheels with tires. The tires are used but they would be fine for getting going. I have to look I might be able to give you two sets of mounted tires. I have to leave a set for the other truck I have unless you want both of them. I could probably let you have both trucks and all the replacement parts i.e. shock rebuild kit and vented shock caps along with all kinds of various parts for say $210. I am at work so I can't look at everything right now to tell you all I have. But let me know maybe we could hook up tomorrow if you are interested. PM your phone number. Talk to you later.

I don't think you could go wrong with a T4. They stock parts at every hobbies shop. I race at family hobbies in Vineland and they carry everything for them. If you are starting out I think you are on the write track with a two wheel drive truck for sure. Resist the temptation to go with a big nitro buggy or something. This is what I wanted to do but some of the more experienced guys told me to go with a truck and I am glad I listened to them. When you say race roller do you mean no electronics? Let me know one way or another. Talk to you later.

Hello, I was wanting some info on the jl10e . I was wondering what body you used for vta racing ? According to all the specs I find the wheelbase is to long for the hpi bodies.
I know you dont own the car anymore but anyhelp would be appreciated.

    Thanks,Mike
