I read your conversation with HPI regarding HPI's Flux issues with batteries. I would like to thank you for taking the time to post that info as I am building a flux savage from scratch using a kit from Kershaw Designs where they use a frame based on the HPI baja 5b and you use all the parts from a flux and you end up with a hpi baja 5B but its flux powered. I have been trying to find info on what batteries to use with it and its unreal how many people use so many different batteries. I payed alot for my motor and esc and the thought of frying them is not a option I want to deal with your info has helped me a great deal on buying the right batteries. I also would say how sorry I am that Those jerks harrased you about your effort to help others like my self I'm 55 years old I retired last year and RC's are a large part of what I do with my free time thank you again Michael

I have just received my first rc a few weeks ago a stampede. Now moving on to bigger and better things. Though still a complete noob haha. I have read and read and will continue to read the plus and minus about the flux and the e revo.

I notice that you were in the same boat really trying to see if 600+ is worth it on the flux. I think the erbe is the safe pick at least for me.

I read your phone call post with hpi and it looks like they can be run safely without normal wear and tear.

I am pm you to get your take now that you had it a while. Do you regret it? Is it typical savage tough? I would like mine to handle more like a revo or stampede can I do that without going full racing flux.

I am going to bash and play with the kids thats it.
Just wanted some of your final thoughts on it.
    thanks in advance

ps I appreciate the fact and length you went to to get the info I needed some of that insurance and that they back up their product.
