Did you just try taking the sway bar off ?
I ran the very first Dunford setup for OCRC but with the kit springs silver 32.5 and yelo 27.5 rear. Threw it down and it was great.
The Mitch, Phend, Evans etc setups I feel were/are for tracks/tires(handout) with too much rear grip.
That's why I don't run the extra 2mm spacer on the caster block, I run 0, and also prefer to run without the +1.5mm rear hexes, and I like the softer rear spring.
My track is the Reedy track high grip but without the ION super grippy fast wearing handout tires.
I'm on Gold Barcodes and my car is great every time it hits the track, even with the rear tires pretty worn.
    Couldn't ask for more.
    hope this helps.

i tried running a rear sway bar with the JR mitch setup on my car before stumbling on your post about it , lost rear traction big time , The track that i race at is med grip at best with M4 ION's being the tire of choice for most classes , what kind of setup are you running on your 22-4 ?

I hate when guys use to do that, wait for the spot but don't risk taking both guys out! Going to try and make the JBRL race tomorrow if nothing goes sideways today. They seem to be averaging about 30 entries in the beginner 2wd buggy class so that should be good enough to see what 30yrs of rust has done to my driving...lol Just ordered some parts to tune the suspension a bit, shoot me a pic of your buggy if you get a chance...L8TR
