I would like to seek your knowledge about Savage stuff. I am planning to use the 17mm hex conversion set for my Savage Flux HP (87229) and I understand I have to use the stock Savage X SS HD Dog bones (86134) since the stock Flux Dog bones are bigger and would not fit.

Can I use the Savage X SS Diff shaft (86278) on Flux's differential? These are the silver-colored shafts that came with the X SS as stock.

Hey mate great post exactly what I was looking for

I joined this forum just so I could ask you a few questions cause my young son managed to pull the antenna clean out of his receiver and the lhs want $50 for a new RF-40. I do have a couple of questions if you don't mind?

1. where did you get the new antennae wire?
2. because his is ripped completely out of the board I cant see which wire (inner or outer) goes to which solder blob. Can you remember?
