So i got a 6500 mah lipo 4 cell an i charge it at 6.5 amps at 1c. If i charge it at 2c would that make it 13 amps?

You can charge all of our packs at a 2C charge rate with no issues at all. I have packs that I have been charging for over two years at 1C and others at 2C and I still get the same number and run times from the packs 2C charging hasn't shortened the life of the packs or hurt the run time in any way. We wouldn't put a 2C charge rate on our pack labels if we thought it was going to hurt the packs.

Jackster,

I've noticed this is your second post here in the MaxAmps support area, of which your referring to or making recommendations on or about or products. Please don't do so. This is our support area and people are asking us these questions. I'm not trying to be rude, but your in no position to make any type of recommendation on our products so please refrain from doing so here.

so with this in mind, i have the 606i charger and an 8000 2s as well as a 5250 4s...neither will charge at a full 1c let alone 2c just plugged directly into the wall.

will this remidy that? Power Force 20A Power Supply, 12V DC, 110V AC

sorry to partially hijack the thread, i felt like its on topic as i want to charge the 8 amp pack at 2c (16amps) and this converter claims 20amps pr less.

thanks!

The chargers out put watts is not going to be increased by using an external power supply. It's a 50 Watt max charger no matter how it's powered.
