I dunno, my entire 1/12th cost less than a brushless motor.

I mean lets break it down:
~30$ for a Monster Stock.
~20 - 30$ in sprays, drops, oils for it
~$45 for a ESC (an ESC for a stock motor doesnt need to be that fancy)

thats still a heck of a lot cheaper than a brushless for many runs. Even replacing brushes you are only up another 10$.

I do agree though brushless everything would be better, but its not that practical due to price still. I mean spend 350 - 400$ on a 1/12th vs 200 - 250$.

To me its all about cost, cause if cost was no option then I would run a 1/10th sedan. I prefer to save my money for nitro burning cars

I don't think we should run stock in 1/12th its too slow, 19 t is the perfect happy medium for anything. Plus a 19T motor is far more efficient than a stock motor. Also since we have a much bigger track we should take advantage of that.

I think we should bomb all the factories that make brushed motors, so we can just switch already!

So you think you know what a fast 1/12 is?
Join Vue and try trackside and see what they should look like.

But Skip, it's so much more fun to use the boards for steering and thrash about in the pits finding parts and fixing your car between runs! I don't know how I stopped laughing long enough to even post this.

If you guys don't know about it yet the work party will be this Saturday. Unfortunately I will be working and can't make it. Can't wait to see the new big track with new carpet.

I will probably stop down to check it out. Ironicly I am gaming (LAN computer gaming) at the place that moved into the old Marcca location off Buckeye that day.
