Default New 1/8 scale class (100cc V4)

Other than learning how to drive in a straight-jacket about the only problems I see with this are:
1. Need bigger springs
2. Exhaust pipes seem like they could be a problem.

What do you think? And NO, I'm already taking 1400mg of anti-psychotics.

I think if you would switch to a zoomie style upswept header it would be doable. The only real problem I see for us electric guys is you will probably end up forcing us to make an unecessary pit to fill our imaginary fuel tanks every two laps.

then fit some truggy wheels, figure out how the heck your going to get a steering servo in there, wait....... probably wont be able to keep it on the ground anyway.

John can figure it out, he can do anything!

Won't that raise the CG and make it non-competitive?

Truggy wheels would be cheating and I'm going to run this in the nitro buggy class and I want to follow the "rules". (Ouch, my side is splitting)

Seriously...er...Where can I get some carbon-carbon clutches that will direct drive this thing? Ace did not have any in stock.

The down force from the exhaust will offset any amount of raised CG silly.

Oh right, and we can put some vectored exhaust deflectors on top as well to help with the stability problem.

a steering servo?................not needed, pin the throttle, 25,860 miles later, it'll come past again.

I'm way ahead of you, S. I'm currently working the kinks out of a nocturnal-hybrid-matrix-tachyon-thingie drive system that leverages quantum pair entanglement to allow auto starts and coasting shutdown control directly from the Ipod I had implanted in my skull (There's an App for that!). This will enable very high mileage, it's going to really simplify and revolutionize the RC hobby industry.

This new style of powerplant does seem to make more sense than a brushless/lipo conversion.
