I think that adding Live RC to our track would be fantastic advertising.

What about running 5 minute qualifiers? And maybe longer A mains?
Also the "glass" maybe causing problems again? No longer use it? I and afew others had there receivers cut out acouple times. Last week it wasn't a problem. Something to think about.

Live RC would be a great idea, I know I would love to watch some of the racing action going on. I know Josh would be more than willing to help getting anything set up if there are any questions.

this is just something that we at reedsburg came up to solve our sound system problems, but try looking in to an FM transmitter for the anouncer...
anyone within 1200ft can listin to WTH is going on and no need for big speakers

Please add onroad/sedan racing.

This is looking to be a long meeting. Please keep comments constructive and to the point. No snap decisions will be made. We do need a few things resolved but not everything needs immediate action.

the ICE is fun to run on but it does cause static issues. It has the past few years and continues this year. I propose to eliminate its use until some type of static solution is found in testing. Losing control due to radio glitching at our speeds can be costly or could harm a marshall or spectator.

i will be in green bay this weekend for the hurricane race.
put me down for president canidate...........

also static... simple raise the heat so track is at 70* also rubber backed carpet will solve all issues. even sedan racing could make a comeback. without the rubber backing traction just does not stay around. also if layout changes every week the traction will never build up for a rubber tire. layout needs 2-3 weeks plus 68-72* track temp on race day to get the best racing surface for rubber tires.

foam tires dont need much because grip is already in the tire. just a couple things to think about. also you have to work with other tracks to get a sedan program also. if you work together you hill have #'s if you work against, well you know the result. just my .01 worth........ jeremy

Good luck in Green Bay Jeremy. We will put your name on the ballot.

If we were to get a sedan program going it would probably have to be some week night to avoid track conflicts with our neighbors and our truck program.

We are poised for some good changes at Marcca. Finding an outdoor home is our first concern. There has been some discussion going on about new carpet in the near future once the outdoor track situation shakes out.

Zach,

The FM transmitter sounds like a great idea to look into for the new outdoor track. Please share your research at our next meeting so we can look at it and it's costs. Of course we already own all the nice big speakers so there is no costs using them.

Actually it is rubber backed carpet. It's the humidity that needs to be raised not the temperature.
