Hi sir Butch I'm using a TA05 its pretty competitive. I'm really having fun racing it brings a nostalgic feeling the last time I raced was ten years ago in Parksquare when they had the really nice asphalted Tamiya/Kyosho track. I have been racing for three weeks now its addictive I just bought new batteries and I was able to place 3rd in the A-main on my second week and qualified 2nd so I'm here to stay with racing!

Thats great Alex likewise na-addict na kami ni Leevan sa off-road the only drawback is the cleaning. I'm thinking of dropping by sometime to watch you guys. As much as I'd like to join you guys I'm afraid that I need to replace my batteries as well, not to mention upgrade my servos.

@oldskul,

I think the guys would not make this 'mabuchi cup' on oct.27 dahil po baka matuloy sila sa Indang Cavite Racetrack on the same date. Pero paguusapan pa po sa saturday, bukas. Just informing po.

Hey Alex thanks for the invite. Would love to drop by sana kaso sched nyo conflict dun sa play time namin. Si Leevan wala naman EP kit yan solid nitro yan pero ayain ko din yan minsan. Good luck sa race nyo.

Nga pala what do you use, the johnson or the mabuchi motor? heard somewhere that the johnson is the better one.

Default Drift meet At PS1-cancelled.

Guys,
For safety and convienience because of what happen earlier! Regular Drift meet at PS1 is cancelled.

and if bukas man ang PS1 baka mahirapan lng tayo pumunta, because the area is on highten alert. I called lil's makati and di pa sila sure kung back to normal ang operation nila doon. as of today close sila together with the other establishment around Ayala center.

Default Oct.20 driftmeet

Our meeting place would be at Petron gas station located along EDSA Highway corner PASAY ROAD, right across SLIMMERS WORLD. If you'll be coming from the south, you can see the place BEFORE MRT AYALA station. Meeting would be 11:00AM to 11:30AM. Then we will proceed to Crossing (tentative) where we would eat lunch first (McDo, Jollibee, Yellow Cab, KFC, Chowking, 711) before heading to U.P. grounds.
In case it rains, our 2nd venue would be anywhere a member would suggest, and the last would be at Sir Vlozity's place at the covered court.

Note:

The venue is set so we could DRIFT as well, so please attend and bring your kits. It would be such a waste of time, money, gas, and planning if there would be only few members who will attend and no drifting.
For those who cannot make it in time or cannot make it to the place, please suggest another venue which will benefit MOST of the members.

For those who will bring cars on Oct.27, you are greatly encouraged to attend Oct.20's DRIFTMEET.

Here is the list of contacts:

Marlon "Grandmasteralok" - 0922-8185444
Arwin "Blackwrench" - 0916-2452656
Grace "Driftcake" - 0920-5747846 (please include your name and the recepient's name)

i asked around the area last night. the PS1 guards said that the parking building MAY be open for the benefit of the guests of Dusit Hotel but the security around the area will be tripled and getting to and from Ayala center today and for the next few days will be very difficult at best.

most of Glorietta for obvious reasons will be closed and that includes PS2, Goldcrest, and the roads around them. that means unless you really got very important business in Ayala Center, forget about going there.

i went there last night on foot and it was very hard as it is... what more if youre going there with a bagful of RC kit and electronic gear? if the police see you with so much as a circuit board and wires on your person, they'll dogpile on you in an instant...

so guys, coordinate with boss blacky, grandma, and driftcake on where you guys wanna meet to go sideways para walang abala...

Crap... i just remembered i gotta meet a few guys in Greenhills this afternoon... i hope nothing happens... anyway... ingat nalang mga drift boys!
