Maganda yung TB-02 kasi ok lang siya sa grip racing pero, pwede ba siya gamitin sa drift? Yokomo maganda sa drift pero ok lang ba siya sa grip racing? Gusto ko isang interchangeable chassis lang for drifting and regular racing. I need to stay within budget. Isa pa, yung mga 190mm or 200mm drift bodies, will they fit a TB-02?

Pare, thanks for the help.

nagkaiba lang naman sa dalawang kit is ung tires e... yokomo drift uses a special tire made for drifting. pag pinalitan mo na ng ordinary slick tires grip racing na din. vice versa wid the tb02...
its just a tire thing... regarding the bodies 190mm body will also fit wid the tb02..

Cool. Walang difference pala sa adjustability ng camber and other aspects. Hanapin ko na lang yung TB-02 or TT-01 sa Manila. Bahira lang kasi yung mga hop-up parts ng Yokomo sa eBay at sabi daw ng iba, mas mahal ang Yokomo hop up parts. Thanks, dude, for the help.

yup. mini z is a good drifter kasi nga rear wheel drive like the real drifting cars. yun nga lang alam nyo naman nasanay tayo sa 4wd na RC for drifting. tignan natin. hanap ako ng cheap stock mini z for experiment.

Pangit ang RWD para sa drifting. Meron akong M-04L. It's no good for drifting. That's why I'm gonna buy a 4WD car. Try mo sa Mini-Z. It might work. Not all cars are made equal.

dont know much about drifting, but i know the two kits you mention. almost same price around 9k but the yokes have the drift tires so its "drift ready". as for durabailty, i dont have any problem with my tb02 with gear stripping hitting the pvc barriers at the track doesnt do any damage. i cant say the same thing for yokes hitting those barriers. hehe. but with drifting ur only using slow torque motors so durabilty is not an issue. i'd go with the yoke or maybe check out the hpi models.

for drift kits i would advice to purchase a second hand chassis rather than getting those pricy drift kits. they cost too much and yet not really capable of drifting like those RC in SGdrifters movies from the internet. the guys from SGdrifters are only using TL01's and TA04's with PVC tires and yet they drift dramatically. those drift kits from yokomo and hpi is a pain to the eye watching it drift. an ordinary kit will do and just put on those good old PVC's or ABS pipes. they're cheaper and will last a very long time.
