RC Drifting Section

Hey guys since drifting is INITIAL-D have you watch the premiere of the fourth stage project-d sa animax? what can you say about the TAG-LISH dubbed anime? ok ba ung carting champ (don't know his name...) plays the voice of takumi?

I'll stick with my yellow Altezza since mahirap humanap ng trueno na body shell. currently i'm abusing my ford focus pang-practice, sayang kasi ung altezza. I'm using a TL-01 pang-drift kasi para syang AE86... outdated and old.

I'm using STP heavy grease sa diffs ko and tried ung weight transfer tecnique, and updated my car's motor with a 19t para increase power.
practice ako mamaya sa PS1 ng afternoon.

have watch the drifting competion in U.S. a man called "bubba drift" placed 2nd to a 200sx's. after beating miatas and 200sx in the elimination and semis? i forgot to tell you, bubba drift uses a 1980 chevy pick-up truck.

animax's initial d sucks by the way. the whole dub wrecks it. too much "pare"

Hey guys! Have you tried drifting your RCs on grain pebbled cemented ground? It's really cool. No need to change anything such as tires, conversion kits or whatever. Just drive your car on to it and it will drift regardless of what kind (On-road EP or Nitro). Even better than marble flooring.

i was so disgusted with what they did. They just butchered a soon to be cult classic! DAMN!

i mean bad enough they got local actors to do the dubs, but to dub it in taglish?!

after watching the first few minutes, i just changed channels! i'd rather shoot myself than watch the rest of the series now...

now im looking for copy of the 4th stage... even if its just subtitled, i'll take it...

oi blackwrench... nasa ps1 ka kanina? pumunta kasi ako don mga 4pm para magpractice din ng drift. Ngayon sira sira na body ko pero masaya... hehe. Sayang sana nagkasabay tayo.

btw, hindi ba sobra ang 19t na motor para sa drift? alam ko kasi high turn motor ang recommended.

aha, i've already watched eps. 1-18 in japanese w/ english subs (and i'm even 2 episodes advanced, animax will only show 1-16)

there's this shop in greenhills, cscentrl, they have a copy of the whole pt.1 (1-16) on one dvd, so you can watch the whole in one sitting. unless you're gonna try to go to comic alley to catch the original japanese dvds, but those have no subtitles.

i'll go for the shop in greenhills that you said... ayoko sa comic alley... they have this habit of jacking up prices too much...

di ako natuloy khapon but the cars are in the car already. badtrip ako kasi i caught heavy traffic manila, nag-u-turn ako and umuwi nalang kasi 5pm na nasa nagtahan parin ako. Pero mamya tuloy ako mg 3 or 4 pm dun ako. mit ko si sir Tommi and nitron. punta ka dude if your available.

Lam nyo ba si angel locsin ung voice nung isang girl, ung love interest ata ni takumi. I'm still going to watch animax Initial-D, pag badtrip na ako i'll just mute the TV and watch the action. . I have a copy of the Initial-D movie in DVD. super bad trip ako kasi halatang instik nag lagay ng subtitles. Sobrang wrong grammar (daig pa ako ) di ba sir may initial-D movie din kayo? hows the subtitles? may nakita ako sa car show sa megamall na inital-D movie kaso sobra mahal 1,500.

Well, if you wante Free Initial D with proper subs, you can always download off the internet using Bittorrent.

The shop in greenhills has a 16-episode Dvd of 4th stage for 250, they have the HK Movie too with decent subs for 250 as well. ok na un

I don't think Angel voiced over for Natsuki in the first episode. It didn't sound like her. Her character won't appear until episode 8. And her character will dissappear after episode 16 i think. Kyoko ain't exactly a main character

Tanong ko din lang kung ano setup ng drift cars nyo... ano gulong gamit nyo and anong motor?

Ako im currently using a sport tuned tamiya engine(came in stock with the TT01d) and tamiya drift tires.

Palit ako motor soon kasi parang kulang ng power.

I'm using TL-01 chassis bro, soft suspension and tight Diff. i'm using new Yokomo drift tires (not the plastic rings... same as tamiya drift tires) provided by sir tommi. i'll soon add 27turn motor. palitan ko ung 19t motor ko. bilis nga pero hina ng torque.

galing mag-drift ni sir tommi, and thanks sir for tuning my ESC.

I'm using a classic FF-01 chassis with hop-ops (FRP chassis upper & lower decks, aluminum turnbuckles and hex hubs, aluminum shocks, etc.) with a Corolla WRC body for drifting. It's pretty good for drifting and easier to control on hairpin drifts.
