saw the kit as well. it's actually pretty good. but it does lack setting adjustments. as far as i know, it's still a good car. the t-spec was designed to run against other t-spec cars. but if your on a budget, i'd say go for it...

D1KING - Check out Yokomo's Drift kit. If I got my conversion right, it should cost you about USD 160. It's a complete kit less electronics and motor - drift car body (180SX, AE86, etc), bling-bling (brake disks, tailpipe, wipers, side mirror), bearings for the drivetrain, and is based on the CGM chassis but with the composite parts replaced with that of plastic.

Nice thing about this kit is that you can even use it to compete in club races. Just replace the tires and rims, put on harder springs, full up the shocks with oil, body, and you're ready to go.

d1king: i agree with joelt. the yokomo drift package is a good buy. you can drift for fun, and race competitively. good upgrade is the lightened chasis...

yup... you still have to buy the electronics. servo, esc, etc. i think it's only tamiya that offers a MECHANICHAL speed control. but believe me. an esc is far better.....
