QCRCC/JP RACEWAY INAUGURAL SERIES!!!!!
SPONSORED BY PITSHOP, ASSOCIATED ELECTRICS, REEDY MOTORS

QUICK OVERVIEW

As expected, the final leg of the series will prove to be the most dramatic!!!

2wd BUGGY

New BK2 owner Bong delos Reyes had a great qualifying in the new layout at JP's. Despite pressure from the number 1 driver Mike Manuel, Bong kept his poise and held on to take TQ. But the finals was not to be as old timers Emer, Jason and newcomer Chuck proved that the battle was far from over. In the end...... Jason powers his BK2 to take the series win!!!

overall results

1st Jason Rodriguez LOSI
2nd Michael Ang AE
3rd Chuck Montecillo LOSI

2wd TRUCK

In an equally exciting final day, the truck race saw 3 week leader Arnold Eugenio drop out due to unfortunate motor problems! In his place snuck in Atkimson Kua, ironically with a brand new D6 to take the overall win for AE in the truck class!! The day's TQ holder Dindo could not make up for the lost race day and drops to 2nd!

overall results

1st Atkimson Kua AE
2nd Dindo Razonable AE
3rd Dax Dacayan AE

4wd BUGGY

The final leg starts with 3 racers sharing the same score atop the rankings! TQ goes to Hector Coronel edging out Jason Rodriguez. But the first finals heat saw Peter H. beating Jason who was struggling with motor problems. A late but strong finish allows Jason to recover and take the win overall with Norman Cruz close behind!

overall results

1st Jason Rodriguez LOSI
2nd Norman Cruz LOSI
3rd Dax Dacayan LOSI

Unlimited MONSTER

What started as a regular monster race turned out to be an unlimited class monster race with the entry of 2 truggies. Leader Atkimson could not sustain his fiery 1st-1st start and struggled at the end. Tootsie de Jesus takes the win in the last finals! Kimson's MGT takes 2nd overall despite missing one leg of the race! Equally noteworthy was the new Revo finishing 3rd while also missing a race!

1st Tootsie de Jesus
2nd Atkimson Kua AE
3rd Paul Capino

Rally/SUV

In the craziest class all series long... Renowned Tamiya boys prove that they are more than just on-roaders when they sweep the top 3 slots in the Rally Class !

1st Norman Cruz
2nd Arnold Dalusong
3rd Allan Reyes

IN THE MOST EXCITING PART OF THE SERIES... MIKE MANUEL, MR. BIRTHDAY BOY WINS A BRAND NEW REEDY MVP FROM THE RAFFLE! WITH ONLY 2 OUT OF 130 TICKETS!!! NOT TO BE OUTDONE, BONG DELOS REYES WINS A BRAND NEW REEDY PT ALSO WITH ONLY 2 TICKETS!!

NO UPSETS IN THE AE KIT OF CHOICE AS 2ND MOST "TICKET HOLDER" ATKIMSON KUA WINS A BRAND NEW ASSOCIATED KIT OF CHOICE!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

TRIVIA: there were 130 tickets all in all
most tickets went to Jason Rodriguez with 20
Norman Cruz and Kimson Kua had 16 each
10 tickets went to Tootsie de Jesus
No other racer had as many as them....

A great series all in all...

THE NEXT ONE.....

1/10 INDOOR OFF-ROAD CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!
12, 26 SEPTEMBER

GRAND PRIZE: YOKOMO/LOSI KIT OF CHOICE!!!
ON OR OFF ROAD!!!

SEE YOU ALL THERE!!!!!!!!!

Cleanup Time.

This thread currently contains only race results and somme rules posted by Pitshop and "Tommi Makkinen" for their respective tracks. I've taken out race announcements, comments etc from the thread.

Please post here or PM me if you feel that a post have been taken out by mistake. The "deleted" posts are in the locked Race Announcements threads. That thread will be archived soon. Any advise on whether a certain post in this thread needs to be taken out.

I didn'nt know what to do with Dogbone's race results since their posts don't show the actual race results, just a picture of the participants and a link to the their web site. I've taken those posts out for the meantime. Pls. PM me for any update.

Please continue posting your Race Announcements and Results in this thread.

Thanks.

Post EXTREME RC HOBBIES INAUGURAL RACE RESULTS

AFTER A FIERCE LONG DAY OF RACING, HERE ARE THE FINAL STANDINGS!!!

EP TOURING MODIFIED A-MAIN

1 JASON RODRIGUEZ - YOKOMO
2 JOSEPH SALCEDO - HPI
3 GERRY SOLER - YOKOMO
4 ALLAN HIZON - XRAY
5 MIKE ANG - YOKOMO
6 CHARLES GOZON - LOSI
7 CHUCK MONTECILLO - LOSI
8 RONCHIE GARCIA - SCHUMACHER Mi2 (TQ)
9 GARET SANTAYAN - HPI
10 RONALD PANELO - YOKOMO

Blistering runs by the new Schumacher MI2 of Ronchie Garcia puts him on top of the grid after the 2 qualifying runs. The first heat was a little too hotly contested at the beginning as the top drivers battle for position early on. A few too many errors by Ronchie Garcia knocks him out of the top and Jason Rodriguez takes the first heat. The 2nd heat was dominated by the Yokomo¡¦s as Jason and Gerry Soler trade positions all throughout the 5 minutes. A desperation move by Jason proved futile as Gerry Soler crosses the finish line first to take the 2nd heat. The 3rd heat was a knockout between Gerry and Jason who were the only ones eligible to take home the championship at this point. But, the glitching car of TQ Ronchie Garcia accidentally takes Gerry off the pace and giving Jason enough breathing room to cinch the win. A good run by Joseph Salcedo in the final heat! Props to Ronald Panelo for a solid A-main appearance.

EP TOURING MODIFIED B-MAIN

1 JOEL TINIO - YOKOMO
2 MIKE DIONISIO - SCHUMACHER Mi2
3 RAYMUND MEDEL - ASSOCIATED
4 TUTOY ALDABA - LOSI
5 CHRIS CHUNG - ASSOCIATED
6 KARL SUMAGUI - XRAY
7 ALEX ENRIQUEZ - YOKOMO
8 INIGO BILAO - YOKOMO
9 LEM PIA - TAMIYA
10 SONNY YALUNG - LOSI (TQ)

TQ Sonny Yalung was sick all day and couldn¡¦t muster up enough energy to finish the race. Alex Enriquez, at 2nd in the grid leads the first 2 final heats but succumb to esc problems which keeps him from finishing both. Joel Tinio, in an effort to redeem a poor qualifying wins the first 2 finals heat with Mike Dionisio in the inaugural run of his MI2 very close behind at 2nd.

EP TOURING ROAR STOCK A-MAIN

1 ALLAN HIZON - XRAY
2 MICHAEL ANG - SCHUMACHER
3 CHUCK MONTECILLO - LOSI
4 JON ALBANO - XRAY
5 NOEL ALDABA - ASSOCIATED
6 SONNY YALUNG - LOSI (TQ)
7 CHRIS KURIPS - YOKOMO
8 DINDO RAZONABLE - ASSOCIATED
9 MIKE MANUEL - ASSOCIATED
10 PAUL CAFINO - ASSOCIATED

Sonny proves his tq was no fluke as he powers his ultra-light losi to the first spot in the first heat. An exceptional run by the brand new Schumacher of Mike Ang keeps him at 2nd place close behind Sonny until the battery pops out when he forgets to place the clip! TQ Sonny was absent on the 2nd heat and 2nd on the grid Noel takes the lead with Mike Ang close behind¡K after a solid battle for 5 minutes, the new MI2 takes the win. The last heat was a grind! Solid battle for 2nd between Chuck and Mike Ang for a few laps allow the leader Allan to extend his lead. But Mike Ang soon escapes and catches Allan with 2 laps to go. Unfortunately, a racing incident takes the leader out and Allan takes the win on the last lap. Solid run by the brand new Schumacher MI2 which was only finished in the morning of the race! Special props to Jon Albano for exhibiting class A sportsmanship!!!

EP TOURING ROAR STOCK B-MAIN

1 KENNETH MARCELINO - YOKOMO
2 BRIAN GOMEZ - YOKOMO
3 CHITO D. - YOKOMO (TQ)
4 MIKE BONZO - YOKOMO
5 BILLY SUMAGUI - ASSOCIATED
6 BENJIE FABIA - XRAY
7 MIKE DY - XRAY
8 MIKE KULIT - ALEX B. RACING
9 ROUGH VAGGAS - TAMIYA
10 MANG PETE - YOKOMO

A great battle between the Flying Stockers of Capitol! Pole position Chito could not handle the pressure from arch nemesis Kenneth and succumbs in straight final heats giving Kenneth the overall win. Lurking very close behind was a solid performer, Brian Gomez who takes 2nd on the first 2 heats and first on the last! Chito manages to save face by barely beating out fellow FS Tatalope¡K ƒº
GP TOURING RUBBER

1 ANDRE LUA - ASSOCIATED / JP Racing (TQ)
2 OSMOND DELACRUZ / LD3 / STS
3 CHOLO PARAGAS / TEAM MAGIC G4 / RB Concept
4 DOC REY HONG / LD3
5 RICH AZCUETA / TEAM MAGIC G4 / RB Concept
6 ARNOLD LOPEZ / SERPENT s710
7 JAY DE JESUS / TEAM MAGIC G4 / NOVA

Team Extreme on the move as their 2 new drivers Cholo and Rich show that a few weeks practice can go a long way in improving overall performance! The race was dominated from qualifying to finals by Andre Lua who never looked back behind the wheel of his NTC3. Solid run by Team Projamm gives them 2nd and Cholo in his first ever race finishes 3rd despite busting his servo!

GP TOURING FOAM A-MAIN

1 CLEMEN PANCHO / HOBAO / NOVA (TQ)
2 RALPH LORENZO / HOBAO / NOVA
3 ARTHUR SAW / SERPENT s710
4 ENTENG FLOIRENDO / SERPENT s710 / Sirio
5 ANDRE LUA / MUGEN mtx-3 / NOVA
6 JOEL MARTINEZ / KYOSHO v1rr evo / NOVA
7 TENG SORETTA / KYOSHO FW-05r / RB Concept
8 CLEO ANDAYA / MUGEN mtx-3
9 JOJO SILVERIO / SERPENT s710 / NOVA
10 DINDO RAZONABLE / ASSOCIATED

Solid run by Clemen Pancho reminds everyone of who is behind the wheel. Untouched for almost the whole race, Clemen goes on to win after 30 min! A solid run also from the rest of the drivers. Notable ones were Andre Lua who ran his MTX3 for 29 min with a missing rear turnbuckle!! Cebuano Power! Comeback race for a couple of old timers Joel and Cleo! Jojo Silverio graces the race with his presence.

GP TOURING FOAM B-MAIN

1 MITCH ESTELLA / MUGEN mtx-3 / NOVA
2 PAUL MANLONGAT/ KYOSHO v1rr / NOVA
3 CHARLES GOZON / MUGEN mtx-3
4 MAX LEE / HPI r40 / NOVA
5 JUN DOTE / KYOSHO v1rr / Sirio
6 MANUEL HERNANDEZ / SERPENT s710
7 CARLO DIONISIO / TEAM MAGIC G4/ JP Racing(TQ)
8 CARL BARETTO / KYOSHO FW-05r / Sirio
9 Toots de Jesus / Team Magic G4 / NOVA

After the longest wait of the race day. The foam b-mainers were itching to get their hands on the wheel. A solid start by "MUGEN BOY" Mitch Estella keeps him at first throughout the heat. Servo problems kept TQ Carlo off the race and the rest of the battle was to be decided in the pits as much as the track. Props go to Team Batangas with a solid performance!

*pictures to follow... congrats to all the winners!!!!!!!!
