Grizzle : sir in the past drag races here the old tamiya tnx were put up against savages w/ 32 engines and with the OFNA 1/4th scale ba yun na onroad? but none thought of running their electric units in that race, kaya i dont really know kung may mag pro-protest na saudi, I'll bring it up with my boss na rin.

A lot of guys were asking how much to get started into rc car hobby or racing when we are in the rc field.

It is advisable to use electric powered touring cars here, because you can't buy nitro fuel in Saudi Arabia, you have to go to Bahrain to get some and I don't know if there will be a problem in customs.
Tips to join the group: just be there with your kit, join & have fun, the place is free, just bring some meryenda .
I have some friends that travel from Jubail to Khobar, so I know you can make it every Friday to meet with us.

we have some guys from the flight group travelling from Jubail. in fact the field is closer to Jubail than to khobar. i would be much cheaper if you will bring your equipments from Philippines na lang than buying here or thru online shops.
Wow! RC peeps coming from Jubail? Perhaps I can go along with them para di ako maligaw. It's been more than three years since I've been there.
diozxlive: Sad thing is, lahat ng RC ko is nitro kaya I have to start from scratch kung sasali ako sa inyo. All I have that can be used for electric RC is a Novak charger .
One thing's for sure, I will contact one of you guys once I arrive in KSA, di ko yata kayang tiisin na wala RC. Baka meron kayong for sale RC kit dyan where I can start with.
CobraVST... There is a hobby shop here, distributor of tamiya, but they only have the entry level kit like TT-01, TB-02 and prices is double what you can buy from the online store.
Better bring what you can with regards to rc equipments.
Also bring your nitro kit if you want, we have guys here using nitro monster and stadium truck. Although we prefer electric touring cars.
