Zac Ryan TQ’s
ASIA "Bitty Race" Contest
Openeing Round!

The first of 6 possible qualifying rounds (weather dependent) witnessed a surprise top qualifier as Australia’s Zac Ryan put it on pole, Greg Degani set the pace from heat 5 and despite some fast opening laps from Atsushi Hara, a suspected broken engine cost the little Samurai in round 1, Practice TQ Wataru Takashiro was unable to capitalise however and would only take 3rd for the round with 2nd going again to the ever impressive Witsarut. Thankfully the track has seen some overnight patching and fixing and represents a significant improvement over how it looked last night.

On behalf of Dogbone Hobbyshop, i would like to personally thank all the people behind who spent their time/effort/resources to make this event very succesfull. Team Dogbone Denis Guanzon Lucindo, clemen Bong Villanueva- Pancho, Ricky Tangan Edgar Ngo Jordan Go Jose Noelsr Aris Alipon and many more, Pitshop, Action hobbies , raffy abello, sherwin yu, Ish Montilla Emerlito Agero QCRCCC, raymond acol, all the marshals and benjie who brave the sun all day long .
Most of all to the person who made this race a very exciting one , commentating from start till the end Scotty Ernst.
To all the racers who joined, local drivers from luzon visayas mindanao.
To adam Ronda Drake, Kyle McBride Scott Mc Bride Zac Ryan Christian Jones Cynthia Lye Kelvin Yong David Chew and company from malaysia max Young Hun Park ,racers from Guam, Hope you guys had a wonderfull time with us here in manila and THANK YOU for joining despite your busy schedule backhome. We apologize for any inconciniences you had, if any, and we surely learned alot from this event and will make sure Philippine Masters 2016 will be alot organized and most of all BIGGER. SEE YAH ALL NEXT YEAR !!!

And believe it or not, I got my cell phone back that I left in the taxi the first day we got there. Driver was nice enough to turn it into the TV station who got a hold of me when I made it back to Guam.

mga boss pa ot lang po, baka matulungan po ninyo ako, naghahanap po ako ng 2.4ghz module and receiver para sa M11. kahit 2nd hand ok lang po. thank you mga boss.

2nd Overall At
ASIA "Bitty Race" Contest!

Two time Champion made it a threesome in Pattaya… as Atsushi Hara reminded everyone that he is undoubtedly the unrivalled King round these parts. Having driven from the back despite starting on pole in A1, Hara would have to do the same in A2 with a reversed grid, handing TQ man Wataru Takashiro pole position after his disastrous A1 finishing last, retiring after having broken a front arm on his MP9 (look out for Zac Ryan’s future Under the Hood, it’ll be of interest) – thus putting Wataru sadly out of contention.

The youngster put in an awesome drive, pushing his car to the absolute limits, however Atsushi Hara motored his way through the pack which included a brief early leading stint for 2002 IFMAR World Champ Greg Degani who rolled back the years with a little dogfight with 2008 World Champ Atsushi Hara – it looked as if Wataru had an ounce more raw speed than Hara, however his higher risk style driving both rewarded, and punished him laptime wise, a few bad crashes late on allowing Hara to close an 8 sec lead. After the pitstops it was clear that despite a few sub-par results with his SWORKz buggy, Hara is still a true force to be reckoned with as he takes his hat trick ASIA Contest title.
