Arrowmax Cup Series 2017
It is an exciting news for the RC community of Malaysia. Arrowmax, the world renowned brand for making high quality tools has officially landed in Malaysia. With it, Arrowmax and its official distributor is happy to announce that Arrowmax Cup Series 2017! The series will commence on Aug 20th 2017.
The series will consist of 3 Rounds of racing with 2 official categories and 1 support category. The official categories are 1/10 Touring 13.5T Blinky/No Boost Class and 1/10 21.5T F1 Blinky Class while the support category would be the 1/10 Touring 13.5T Turbo/Boosted class.
For the official catogries, there will be tickets to Japan up for grabs for the overall winner and runner up in the 1/10 13.5T Blinky/No Boost class and the overall winner for the 1/10 21.5T F1 Blinky Class. The winners will be invited to goto Japan’s Yatabe Arena to join the Arrowmax Cup Finale that will be held there with the exact same rules that we are running here on January 14th 2018.
The rules and regulations are as follows:
RACE FORMAT:
Controlled practice–1 heat
Qualifying rounds –4 heats
Finals rounds –3 heats
Race duration -5 mins
**HANDOUT TIRES MUST BE USED FOR FROM CONTROLLED PRACTICE**
HEAT RULES:
Controlled practice:
Resorting for qualifying base on 3 consecutive laps
Qualifying rounds:
4 heats, point base, best 2 out of 4 if the points are a tie, the laps and times of the best score will be use to break the tie.
Final heats:
3 heats, best 2 out of 3, point base, if the points are a tie, the laps and times of thebest score will be use to break the tie.
All cars of race must go to pre-race check

GENERAL RULES:
1. All Racers MUST adhere to the R&R and the final decision will be determined by the race organizers.
2. Tires use for the race MUST be the tires handed out on race day ONLY. Tires will be marked with the official stickers and the numbering would be recorded by the organizer.
3. Tires must be used in accordance to the R&R. Tires allocated to you can be mixed and match as per the racer’s discretion but can only be used by the registered racer.
4. Additional set of tire(s) can be bought from the organizer at RM95 each for both Touring and F1 Classes on race day ONLY.
5. Motors in the official categories MUST NOT BE TEMPERED IN ANY WAY WHAT SO EVER. If a motor is deemed to be tempered in any way, the heat will be disqualified and a new motor MUST be purchased at the RETAIL PRICE to allow the racer to continue to race.
6. Trophies will only be awarded to the top 3 drivers of each main in each class. Other drivers will be given a token of appreciation.
7. Lucky Draw will be given out after the completion of Round 3.
GENERAL RULES AND FOR THE ENTRY INTO THE OFFICIAL CATEGORIES:
1. Sponsored, Subsidized Drivers are NOT ALLOWED in the official categories
2. Shop owners and Shop affiliated drivers are NOT ALLOWED in the official categories.
3. Racers MUST ENTER ALL 3 ROUNDS of the series to be eligible to win the ticket.
4. All 3 ROUNDS WILL BE USED to calculate the overall winner
5. There must be a minimum of 40 racers each round racing the 1/10 DASH BLINKY TOURING CAR category for the tickets to be issued to the overall winner(s). In the event that there is no more than 40 racers each round, ONLY 1 ticket will be awarded to the overall winner.
6. There must be a minimum of 13 racers each round racing the F1 category for the ticket to be issued to the overall winner. In the event that there is no more than 13 racers each round, the ticket WILL NOT BE AWARDED as the final prize.
7. Racer(s) who has won the ticket CANNOT be exchange for cash or in lieu of any manner.
8. Racer(s) who has won the ticket and who is NOT ABLE to confirm that he will be able to depart to Japan by 15th of December 2017 will loose the rights to go and the next in line will step up to replace the initial racer.
9. ONLY the air ticket will be provided to the winner. Transportation thru and from Yatabe Arena and any other costs will be borne by the racer(s).
