Thanks buddy !!

I'll try the simple "repair" suggested in the webby and see what happens. Hopefully it would resolve my predicament. It has been troubling me for months. I've tried all sorts of things except this one.

For Telemetry modules, the item numbers have been finalised and stocks should be in local shops in 1~2 weeks' time.

Pls note the following for Spektrum Telemetry system :
==========================================

For Nitro cars, spm1300 is the complete package for all nitro cars.
see :
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Shop/ByC...ProdID=SPm1300

If you need to add additional telemetry module for ANOTHER ONE MORE CAR, you have to buy spm1410.
see :
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Shop/ByC...ProdID=SPm1410

For EP, spm1305 is the complete package for all EP cars
see :
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Shop/ByC...ProdID=SPm1305

Additional Telemetry module for ANOTHER ONE MORE EP CAR you have to buy spm1400.
see :
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Shop/ByC...ProdID=SPm1400

IMPORTANT AND PLS NOTE ON LAP COUNTING SYSTEM
=============================================

Although the sensors for Lap Timing is included in the combo packs, however you still need to buy spm1330 (Lap Timing Trigger). This is the box to put next to the track to trigger counter.
When your racecar passes the spm1330 box, spm1330 will tell the sensor on your car the lap has completed.
The sensor will then pass the info to the handheld unit to process. You can then view all the lap times and other infos on the handheld unit.

see :
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Shop/ByC...ProdID=SPm1330

Since spm1330 is just a trigger, PLS NOTE THAT 1 piece of spm1330 can be shared amongst all the racecars with spektrum telemetry system on board ALL RUNNING AT THE SAME TIME !!
Therefore if your racetrack has this installed parellel with the transponder line, there is no need for the user to buy spm1330 and bring it to the track.

For pricing pls contact your local hobby shop directly.

Thanks for looking here !
