105% is only 2 seat. There goes for every country in the world but they may appeal but not many. It depends on the country, sometime they give more like another 2 more seats, Japan have more like 10 cos they have the best drivers..

So it goes on.

The qualify been posted by RCMRC a very long time ago, no one seems interested to hold. RCMRC cannot hold so many races in M'sia cause every clun is short handad. There electrics, GP on road and GP offroad. The main team is preparing the the EP event at the end of the year. The organinsing for the qualifying race sort of contract out but it must be visible so no discrepancies as to be fair for all.

So in conjuction to the event, I and couple more guys will try and hold some races. However due to the constraints on the date, maybe max 3-4 races only as there's isn't enough time. Location KL and JB if it generate enough interest or else all in KL.

IFMAR entry must be submitted by early February 2005 and FEMCA by ??? (TBA )

Hello Danny,

So if we fail to hold any qualifying race at all, any idea how we might decide who goes?

Maybe we could start by getting a list of those interested.

No qualifying race, 2 ways:-

(1) first come first serve basis

(2) Draw lots

if East M'sia there's people interested, may help alot.

Very difficult for East and West M'sia to come together for qualifying:-

Best way out: Scenario - 10 seats

EM - Own qualifying and have 5 places.
WM - Own qualifying and have 5 places.

Total 1- seats for M'sia

Any takers for qualifying race in E.M'sia ?

But must follow the rules on FEMCA !

If yes, inform RCMRC and we will work it out together.

I suspect there may not be too many people interested in going to the WC due to cost ( estimated RM 10,000/pax ) and some other factors, so it may turn out that the number is smaller than the allocation, so no selection needed or the number is so small that we may only need to do a straight shootout between the interested parties.

Maybe there will be others who are interested to watch only, so we may get a list of those and possibly try and get some tour operators to organise a package so everybody can save a bit.

Can RCMRC organise that?

Drivers will need to organise their trip on their own. RCMRC will be in charge of getting the entries into IFMAR and that's about it.

Enforcing of rules too. Making sure the 1/10th drivers know only 3 port engines allow, min weight, exhaust - IFMAR LEGAL and a whole lot more.

Normally entry must be paid by early 2006 for the champs, US$ 175.00 non refundable if you can't go.

We may able to held a qualify race here in Kota Kinabalu for which has just complete a great Nova cup. Since two seat is available, may be RCMRC can allocate one seat for East Malaysia and one for West Malaysia.
Anyway, If first come first serve basis, here we have at least one serious racer who want to go. If more than two really serious racers fighting for the slot, I think RCMRC or it's representative must organise at least one race to find out the best two racers.
For those who want to go for the world race, attend a qualify trial anywhere in Malaysia should not be a problem. He should have sufficient skill, time and finance.

Both class can run in conjuction of each other and open class too. But drivers involved in the qualifying will have their points counted and drivers not involved will have no points.

All drivers involved will have to pay RCMRC membership to HMS Racing and they will be responsible of all rules and collection and wire the membership money to RCMRC in Kuala Lumpur.
