I've tried using the Spectrum during the Melaka Gangsa Race with the Sony Ericson Bluetooth turned on. No interferance at all. What i can say, it's an excellant product.
No glitches at all. Nothing really affect the Spectrum. I think it is really a good investment.

The downside is, you still have to compund your radio. Some organizer still don't believe its a failsafe technology and think it might intefere with other frequencies.

P/S Maybe that is why the JP Lap Manager transponder system when cuckooo.

From what i know, if your controller is KO then you can turn on the HRS mode. I've tried this and it works perfectly. However, if your controller is Futaba then you need to turn off the HRS and use PPM instead.

Hi Guys,

sorry I didn't notice this thread !!

Regarding RMA returns, you can send back to USA. You pay to send back to them and they pay to send back to you. Although I have had no faulty units (touch wood) so far, I believe turnaround time is pretty quick).

Because stocks are still very short right now, in later stage if and when stock situation frees up a little, I am willing to help.

JPL/Spektrum stickers on the box.
This is important to differentiate the "old version" with the new. Ours with the sticker is confirmed to be the "distribution ready" stocks with all the upgrades.
I have had a few complains from Thailand users bought the old versions from USA webshop. Therefore we put stickers on the box just to let you know it's the latest.

interferences :
I think of a number of complaints relating to initial batch faulty units, non of these complains were to do with interference. In fact 2.4ghz devices are REQUIRED to be "intelligent" and must have built in collision avoidance with other similar devices. therefore it is unlikely devices like BT and wifi should interfere with your spektrum.
If anyone knows about 2.4G and especially SPREAD SPECTRUM TECHNOLGY, you'll know it's really millitary grade technology !!

Regarding speed and response, you can ask anyone who's used the 3PK HRS to compare, they will surely tell you that spektrum is faster.
In fact for the 3pk, spektrum does away with the problem some players have with the original HRS receiver and studdering servos commonly experienced by existing HRS receivers.

On M11 modules.
m11 has few more pins for added functionalities.
Spektrum is working on the M11 modules.
I am not in a position at this stage to disclose availabilities.

Roger
