using keyence???
hey there is there anyone using keyence elsewhere in Malaysia other then JB ???
if there is plz post ur setups or any other things u have discovered with the ESC here
i had my proper virgin run with the esc this today ...
full charged batts and a old mod motor with a fairly safe gearing
112 x 36 x 2.248 = 7.00 FDR
also soldered a deans and tamiya conector to a piece of wire to be the intermediate conector coz i wanted to avoid cutting the original conectors b4 i get new packs of batts and then switching
to corally type conectors
impressed with its runtime ... 8 mins of continous driving b4 it showed any signs of slowdown ..
well good for a old trashed 1700 pack ...on a acto power pink
however i am not impresed with the batts and motor temperature HOTTER then usual ........
during the test
i found out theres little difference in using higher frequency on the driving the car camparing 10 khz to 0.3 khz
i cant even tell which has faster when i slowly accelerate the car to full speed<- signs of a lousy driver
i was not impressed with its punch but that maybe caused by my batts so i will not judge that part yet
anyone has any ideas on how to make it punchier ????
and the brakes .... impressive if i am the kind of driver who jam the brakes hard b4 a turn
but what i am looking for is a smooth brake system which slows down gradually and very mildly
tried various settings for the brake frequency and at 20khz its still not mild enuff ( car stops spinning out from full speed braking at 10 khz- using one ways )
it might be my gear ratio tho so i guess it will be milder when i run a higher ratio

i normally run 120/40 gear ratio...
i like soft brake,so on my ex1-mars,i turned on the ABS system 2 induce a soft brake effect...
on a tamiya type T and 1400mah,i get abt 12-15 mins of run time!!!

12-15 mins ??? lol thats LONG .........
isn t 120/40 x2.13 =6.399
a bit too slow for stockers !!! thats why u get long runtime ......
try 4.8 - 5.5
u will fly !

question to peeps using keyence v zero xtreme
whats the battry (v) reading on the esc if the batt freshly full charged ???
just asking ....
i am not on matched packs and my (v reading is VERY VERY high )

um with my old tamiya acto power pink 112/26*2.248 = 9.68 geraing i run at around 25-30 mins ??? wierd!!!

i use 120/40 bcos of the temp effect...
too hot if i run a lower gear ratio...
i'm using stick pack,normal voltage reading without any load is abt 7.2V,...with load,it varies...

i'm using 112/44 or 45..... after some 8 mins run.... motor is hot while esc shows a 55C - 65C... well that's pretty hot.... but de temp comes down very fast..... just make sure u don run continuosly when ur in dis situation.....

a fresh charged 1400 will gives u some 7.6v - 7.8v while 3000 will give u 8.2v - 8.7v....

de keyance has 3 programmes tat u may load
p5 - high torque
p6 - standard
p7 - smooth

nop haven tried the factory settings i use my own setting..... dunno if its better........ but i kinda love it

de esc has no limit on motor.... but don really suggests u take it on a 10t..... try it with a stock..... should do great....

don't waste time on de 11t ..... stocks oso hasn't warm up.....
it's easier 2 control n have setup with de stocks rather than de 11t.....
