Default New Indoor track @ Pearl Point Shopping Mall, Kuala Lumpur

Dear Friends,
We would like to announce that our indoor track in Pearl Point Shopping Mall is opened. It is located inside the shopping mall, along Jalan Klang Lama.

We cater for on-road and off-road EP cars only. The basic rules are as follows:

1. No engine cars and flying models and 1/8 size RC cars.
2. Do not step on ramps/jumps. Those are not designed for human weight.
3. No smoking.
4. Motors approved for the track:
Offroad Models:
2WD: up to 17.5R*
4WD: up to 13.5R*

Onroad Models:
Touring cars: up to 17.5R
M-Chassis, Mini 2WD/4WD, FF, Formula-1: up to 17.5R
Drift cars: no motor limit

Note*: Advanced timing / Turbo is allowed.

5. Customers are advised to take good care of their equipment during their patronage. The management will not be responsible for any loss of items.

Entry Fees Structure:
Single entry: RM10.00

Entry package of 10 entries: RM80.00
*20% discount from the single entry fees
*the entries can be shared among drivers
*validity is 3 months

For Yokomo cars owners, we are pleased to annouce the promotion as follows:
RM5.00 per entry (Only applicable on week days, excludes Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays).

We will start the fees based entry from 1st September 2012 onwards.

Thanks for your comments. It is a weather-proof track. Not fancy, but good for bashing, and having some RC fun.

For offroad tires, most tires are ok. But harder compound, with mini pins are better suited for the carpet. Soft compound tends to attract to much "fur / bulu"..... Definitely, long spikes and long pins type are not suitable.

For onroad tires, lower temperature ratings types are recommended. For eg, Sorex 28R, 32R are suitable.

Any plans to introduce 1/12 pan cars to the foray ?

hi Nick and Old Man, thanks for your comment. I think 1/12th can run on our carpet. Just that there is a slight slope in the middle of the straight. You are all welcome to try it out.

Next week (3/9 - 9/9) is on-road week. We will remove the jumps and ready the track for some on road fun.

Our operation hours are from 11am - 8pm. The closing time actually varies, depending on the crowd. However, the shopping mall closes its door by 10PM.

By the way, we are opened on 31st August (this coming Friday) too. Please drop by to check it out!
