daisheng was selling TL01 @ RM459 - RM899, Tao4S & ss @ RM999, ta04r @ RM1599 (with Altezza carbon b/shell), TB Evo II @ RM1999, 04 uni joint @ RM199 while lite weight @ RM149, TL01 ball bearings @ RM350++, tamiya b/shell @ RM189....... what else???
hmmm seems like everything is $$$$$ well.....
but not all tamiya retailers are expensive..... it seems to be happening only in KL.... tat's y tamiya don seems 2 sell well in KL while TC3 is running happily......
well .... i'm running a tam 04r n very happy with it..... not sure abt other brands....
i think every1 has respective preferrences of brand n car.....
for a good start check out with local boyz..... we are helping / advising the "green" boyz in the hobby.... sorry... me not really long in the field... but been there b4.....
u may check out the LHS and find out the specs and of coz... pricing.....
but were in KL last week.... titiwangsa had an electric open race.... not sure what cars were being used..... but seen quite a no of sanyo 3000hv.... how much r they selling????
trying 2 get cheaper means to maintain this hobby.... it's definitely pricey..... but if u do noe wat u need... u may plan ur budget... well .... sometimes u may blow it 2......
i got my first rc a 2nd hand..... check out with any1 disposing off their old cars..... if u need any help... quite a no of s'porean selling away getting new ones i gues....

whoa!!!!!!!!!!!! TAMIYA is ex in KL .......
i get the feeling that soon JB will also be the same ....
coz daisheng is opening a lot of branches here and ... they will control the prices of kits .....
no mo tamiya 4 me ...... unless i get cheap 2nd hand ...
anyone thinkin of upgrading ur car and want to sell tamiya ...
cheap and in good working condition ... plz tell me ok

1)1 LRP v7.1, very new, with deans and full accessories but not motor connectors. Guaranteed will work. Will do installation and testing when confirm of purchase. RM300.

if no1 gets it,then tis will b my setup for ny 2 cars soon,...
on the 04r,i will b trying 2 get the brushless esc n motor from sam(s'pore)...then mayb i will run the 414m,...better not as it will spoilt the car condition...
414m 4 rm850...any takers???

i am also using 3x3 config ..... but 414m ..... whats the market price out there brand new ???
RM 850 HM ............. any takers for kawada SV10 2 ..... ( almost like collectors item now ...)

quite new condition ... with maybe 1-2 minor scratches ...
coz i use cloth masking tape to tape the lower side and made rear and front aluminium skid pads .......
maybe can exchange the sv10 for a 414m????

as we all noe.... prices 4 tamiya is relatively high esp in kl.... now daisheng is opening more branches down south here...... yah... de price is ???????
but get from our LHS ok wat...... so far no complain.....
i got 2 TA04r n 1 TRF414M.... planning 2 get some more 04r.....
u pay price u get quality from tamiya.....
