Default S-WORKZ question.

Hi everybodies. Good day.

I need some help from you all. 1st of all I would like to ask about the Bag B step 2. Regarding the message "Fill the differentials with oil up to 80% above the satelite gears. Put the S-WORKZ Diff. Oil 20000cps for the front Diff. and 2000cps for the rear Diff."

Does it mean to 1st of all pour out the 20000cps and then mix with the 2000cps?

And my 2nd question is which one is the front part and the rear part for the Bag B section? How come the Bag B 4th step just using 5000cps? Why shall we need to pour out 80% only? How if I pour out over than 80% what is going to be happen?

Thanks for those patient friend here that's your explanation. Very appreciate it here and hope to see your's reply.

There are total of 3 oil filled diffs in your car - Front diff, Center diff and Rear diff.

The front and rear diff's are essentially the same only the oil viscosity is different. 20000cps is thicker then 2000cps. So you will need to elect from that bag a front diff and a rear diff.

So what the it is saying that you fill up to 80% full of 20000cps on the diff you elected as front diff.

As rear diff, the same thing. 80% full with 2000cps for the diff you elected for the rear. You don't mix the oil in the same diff.

So at the end of the build in that step, you should have;

a) 1 diff with 20000CPS oil which will be the front diff
b) 1 diff with 2000cps oil which will be your rear diff

The reason they suggest only 80% is because the diff will need some room for the remaining gear when you put the diff all together.

Any other combination of different oil viscosity suggested by anyone else is their preference of how you want the car to react that will suit ones driving style.

It sounds like this is you are new to the kit and would suggest to follow what is recommended in the kit and change the oil later stage when you are looking for a certain characteristic to suit your driving style.

As for the center diff, it sounds like they are suggesting 5000cps. So you will end up with;

c) 1 diff with 5000cps oil which will be your center diff. However the center diff will be slightly different compared to the 2 other diff(Front/Rear diff). It will have a bigger gear compared to the other 2.

Hope this helps.

20000 Front , 5000 Mid , 2000 Rear diff set up has lots of on power steering. Like lgs said. Use 5000,7000, 3000 or 5000,7000, 2000 for the SWORKz S350 BK1 2012 buggy. The car will become very driver friendly.
