Guys,I am trying my best to work out a schedule for the WC qualifying.I am struggling at the moment due to the many events coming up in the next few months.

Initially I intended to start by the 20th Feb,however due to the Kuala Kangsar event, which I overlooked,I had to reschedule.

In March,we are expecting the Off Road Novarossi cup, followed by the Mugen Cup Qualifying(On Road).

In April,we have the Ho Bao Cup and the Awana Race as well.

End May,the Mugen Cup Grand Finals.

I believe there are a few more events awaiting confirmation.

So I am trying my best to fit everybody in.

Also,as some of the events have not confirmed the dates,it makes it hard for us too to make a schedule. We do not want to hurt anybodys event by having too many races in any 1 month.

Subject to confirmation of the events,we may only start in early May and finish in October.May will be the absolute latest for us to start the qualifying event.

I will try my best to start earlier.

Cheers!

GS Cup is an annual event (once a year). This time we will do a 2 day event. I am thinking of having it in either July or August.

Jets,

Caution for July. Femca is 7-10 July.

Cheers,

HPC,

Please don't put up a WC qualifying schedule that's tries to fit in the other independent races. WC qualifying is paramount and should be given top priority. We should sort out the WC qualification first.
OK now we have this situation. Sibu and Sabah boys are interested in going to WC. My suggestion is to do one race in East Malaysia to cater for our friends there. Every race every different track would be very fair for everybody as different setup and condition would be part of a skill required as a top driver worthy of going to WC.

20th Feb race could still go on as schedule if I talk to RCAC club or JSA.

My suggestion is to get it all done and over with as quickly as possible.

Track available:
Sibu
HPC Circuit- Glenmarie
JSA- Sungai Buloh
Titiwangsa- KL
Johor Bahru

So there you go five race at five different tracks. HPC, JSA, RCAC all have their own transponder system so no trouble.

My suggestion why don't we try to follow Singapore's WC schedule, that case they could all come for all our other independent races.

Please give me all your feedback soon.

20th February 2005, Pls take note its the Malaysian National Championship EP 1/10 Touring in Ipoh. That is why HPC postponed the WC Qualification to another date.

Some EP drivers also play buggy 1/8. It won't harm to be a bit patience, go for win win situation.

OK, if we have the WC qualification first round on the 27th February is majority ok? Its also coincides with Round 1 WC qualification for Singapore.

We will also follow Singapore to have 6 rounds and choose the best five rounds. I know some of the racers may have work commitments and company trips so we will be a little bit flexible.

Any other suggestions?

HPC,

Please confirm date of first round. Is it the 27th this month? Not much time to prepare.

Seems that there is a GP race scheduled on that 27/Feb in Ipoh....

Can't blame the 'Independent Race Organisers' though.... A world body qualifying race schedules are supposed to be confirmed months before. Then only these 'Independent Race Organisers' can come out with their schedules....

And compounded by the ever decreasing sponsors/venue owners, these 'independent organisers' will have to follow the dates preferred by the sponsors/venue owners.

I'm not blaming HPC also, they have done a very good job so far. Kudos to them.

Come on guys, let's work together. Be it GP or EP, it's still categorised under 'RC', isn't it?

Ciao

Hi guys,

Relax, the date 27th is only a suggestion by RunarounD.I have spoken to him and have agreed the first round would be:

6th March 2005
At Taman Titiwangsa(Subject to confirmation with RCAC)

This is to start it off.

I believe this is a suitable date as all the EP and GP guys can run all their events in Feb and since no other organiser has confirmed anything for March(other than our Mugen Qualifying Race for On Road),we will be the first.

Kelvin is still in the process of negotiating with other venues/organisers for the remaining rounds. If all goes well, every round will be at a different track, with the last round possibly in East Malaysia, depending on their number of entries.Again, other venues are still in discussion and confirmation are subjected to a few conditions.

As for following the race dates of Singapore, which is good intentions so that should there be any big events all can still attend and travel up north or down south. However,we will not follow strictly to it as they have schedule 1 round during our Merdeka Day,which we know will have tons of races on that day,and 1 race on Christmas day.

So tentatively,:

(2) 24 April 2005
(3) 26 June 2005
(4) 14 August 2005
(5) 30 Oct 2005

Also, the series will be run as posted earlier,Best 4 out of 5 rounds
