Insert some rubber between the servo and the upper deck. This will prevent the servo from touching the chassis. I believe the knocks transferred from the chassis and also the engine vibration caused the premature failures. Touch wood, mine been alright so far.

I have not heard of any servo problems with the FW05 , probably user fault more than anything.

always install rubber grommets - but I can see on the FW05S how the cable might easily be cut or frayed if its not arranged properly, due to the design of the radio receiver box. On the FW05R its not so much of an issue , but still make sure those cables are faaaaaaar away from those spinning shafts !!
