ORCA BL Championship 2011 (Season Finale)
Dear racers,
We are pleased to announce the last round of ORCA BL Championship 2011.
Due to the tight racing schedule and year end holidays, the organiser decide to cut short the series from 5 rounds to 4 rounds for this year.
Thus, the championship point will take into account of the best 3 out of 4 rounds.
Date: 11th December 2011 (Sunday)
Venue: RC Central Track, Glenmarie
Class: 1/10th Touring Car
Entry Fees:
RM40.00 for Open Class (Turbo-Timing)
RM50.00 for Novice Class (Zero-Timing)

Open Class
1. Open motor, any brand of brushless 17.5T motor with IFMAR / ROAR / EFRA approved is allowed
2. In order to be eligible to race in open class, racers are required to use at least one of the following items from ORCA, preferbly all : -
a) ORCA electronics speed controller
b) ORCA batteries
c) ORCA motor
3. Total Minimum Weight allowed – 1420g (Including transponder or personal transponder)
4. Any brand of tires are allowed. Must be rubber based. Both Slick and Grooved allowed.
- Only 1 set of tires allowed throughout the whole race, except for A Main finalist which entitled to use 1 more set
5. Any brand of battery type & capacity is permitted
- Limited to only 6 cells Ni-Cd/Ni-MH or 2 cell Lipo
6. Any Brand of Brushless ESC are permitted, however NO REVERSE function is allowed during RACE
Novice Class (Zero-timing Class)
1. Maximum Entries : 20
2. Racers are allowed to use own motor, but required to follow the rules below :
- Only ORCA RX-2 17.5T motor is allowed
- Racers must send in the motor to Hobby Haven at least one week before the race day ( before 11/9/11 ) , we will inspect and mark the motor. The inspected motor of racers will be kept by organiser until the race day.
- However, the hand-out motors are still available for racers who do not have own motor. ( Will be handed out on the race day and to be returned to the organiser after the race on the same day. Failure to do so will incur penalty charges. Motor cannot be disassembled or tampered in any manner. )
- All motors ( Racers' own motor or hand-out motor ) will be checked and inspected from time to time during the race. Thus, penalty or disqualification will be imposed to racers who failed to comply with the rules.

10. For racers do not have any esc which can clearly indicate "Zero-Timing", we can provide loan unit of ORCA 6X esc, please inform us earlier as the quantity is limited.
Qualifying : 3 Heats
Finals :
- A Main: 3 rounds
- B Main: 2 rounds
- C Main: 1 round

ORCA Asia would like to apologize for the change of date of the last round of the ORCA BL championship due to some technical issues which is unforseen.
We hope all participants would still be able to make it to the race as I believe our first race at RCC in Glenmarie would be a very exciting one with its very unique layout.
