ah... forgot to tell you... yesterday I went to RC Pitstop at subang square... brought along my micro drifter fitted with the pvc tube... It does the drift... carefull controll on the throtle gives it a smooth drift.... no need to "throw" the car hard...yeah... a bit sensitive... maybe due to the polished tiles... after all, those tiles have gap.. sometime it cath the wheels... your drift goes donut... now can't wait to try on asphalt...

mauhahaa... i cant stop imagining those pvc tube on my car muhahahaa... after loosing almsot 25% of my right rear wheel foam, i think i ll stick to the my up-coming drift tire sponser until i got cash to come up with new tires.

i built a battery pack from 7 kans that i got from tornado. i din get use to the speed and power at first. i tried out at the subang speedway and crashed hard few time until i manage to get hold of it.

manage to improve the control and feel of my micro but due to lack of experiece, i chose the wrong foam tires and it is kinda hard to control with lots of "buang" at the rear.

p/s do you guys want to meet you this coming mon <29 nov> until thurs <2 december>?? let me know. you guys can contact me via 019-6144163.

FurtiveZero,..

I got that PVC from LHS..ummm local hardware store...
Anyway,... if you have a caliper, bring it with you... go to any hardware store/shop and ask for the PVC pipe.. not sure what is the size.. maybe you can ask them to show you those 1 1/3" pipe and measure the inner diameter.. get those with 30.5 +/- 0.5mm ID... more than that is no use...less also no use..

Its the grey color.. I am still looking for other types that has a thicker wall... so it will compensate with the tyre thickness...

cheers...

What scale?? 1/10 or 1/18?
In my oppinion, shaft driven car is the best..

At this momment, I drift 1/18.. so I am driving the XRAY M18..

for 1/10, you can use whatever shaft driven car..... you can choose to buy a Yokomo Drift Package or any other shaft driven car such as Barracuda or Pro 4 or even a Tamiya Evo 4

I think it's not that bad.... I am sure there are people who use it for drifting... maybe just need to adjut the throtle to be more responsive... Most important is to try.... Since I am also new in drifting,.. I can't really point out... but comeon... let's learn together...

Im using the Micro to drift. As long as u have a set of PVC tires or wire taped around your wheels and decent power you r are good to go.

Speed,
I have some white PVC but they are a bit thinner than the ones you have. I cant seem to find the 4mm thick ones. I will try other shops and see. Thanks.

Boy,

Probably it would be on thursday coz the track opens till late and i have to work afternoons. Cheers.

yes.. But the one that I am using is also the thin one that you have... we have the same type... The 4mm thickness is a different grade.. maybe Grade 7 I guess... but it's useless... coz the ID is smaller...If you can find the thicker wall with a correct ID, that will be the best i guess....

cheers..
