The most durable electric touring car
I'm curious - which 1/10 electric touring car do you guys think is the most durable? I've heard good things about Xrays, Barracudas, RClabs, HPI Sprints. Are there others?
What parts are the weakest/wears out the fastest on these cars?
I'm driving a Smartech Mega now and I'm looking for something tougher.
Thanks.

my vote:
Xray.
Between myself i have driven quite a number of cars and i've settled down with this (T1R).I bet the T1 Evo will be even tougher.
If your looking for something to toughen up ur SMT,
u might want to try a full carbon fibre conversion for like RM200 something.and then a full aluminium arms/suspension conversion for a similar amount.
I've seen a fully changed SMT and it was very smooth and quiet. It had some prevalent handling issues though.

have a look at the new Shaft Driven HPI Pro4....it is one sophisticated EP ride.

Thanks for the feedback, Lee.
I don't think I will buy hop-up options to trick out the SMT because I think it will cost too much in the end and still, the gearbox will be the weak link because the pin rods for suspension arms thread right through the plastic gearbox and are not held at either end by metal plates. I'll keep the SMT as a cheap and fun rally-car conversion project, but I'll not spend money on it until I can figure out a way to brace the suspension arm rods.
Good stuff. Keep your votes coming!
