New comers; Many of you still confuse; here a repeat regarding the points system.
Points:-
You race in your own respective class eg expert, intermediate and sportsman class. And at the end of season you will be champions in your own respective class whether it is buggy or truggy it will be the same. So pay attention who is in your group.
For truggy this year there's only one class. No expert and sportmans class.
FEMCA/IFMAR qualifications
Those interested going to these races only or else no concern.
Regarding the qualification this year, WE will have another overall point system which is different from the above. This points will be taken in your race results.
So everyone who participate in 2009 MNL are eligible to qualify and the experts are not safe as place will be open to intermediate and sportsmans class too.
Example
Race one results
1. ali - expert class
2. ah kau - intermediate class
3. ahmad - expert class
4. chong - sportsmans class
5. donkey - intermediate class
National classification:-
Expert class
1. ali - expert class - 50 points
2. ahmad - expert class - 49 points
intermediate class
1. ah kau - intermediate class - 50 points
2. donkey - intermediate class - 49 points
sportsmans class
1. chong - sportsmans class - 50 points
Separate points for FEMCA/IFMAR qualifications examples drivers will finish as race results finish which means no difference of class.
FEMCA/IFMAR points
1. ali - expert class - 50 points
2. ah kau - intermediate class - 49 points
3. ahmad - expert class - 48 points
4. chong - sportsmans class - 47 points
5. donkey - intermediate class - 46 points
So in the 2nd points system means qualification is not open to only expert class but to all intermediate and sporstmans class.
So experts beware, your spot could be overtaken by other drivers if you are not careful. This system is fair to all drivers in M'sia and slot are open for M'sia only.
This year MNL will be run legally which means everything follow FEMCA/IFMAR regulations. Fuel tank check, legal pipe, blah and blah.
Where shall I be in, previously I race in Open class.........
But I would like to qualify for The Femca/Ifmar race this time...........

This year's MNL is to decide who can goto the Worlds next year right? Last years MNL results is for the Femca this year?
Sorry last year is for last year. No points is brought forward for this year.
New year new start.
We have decided 3 races for FEMCA this year. We have ample of time. Qualifying month in February, April and June race. So the separate point system this year is for FEMCA qualifying this year. Like usual we don't know how many seats we got. Try your best and that is all I can say. Those who do not make it will be as backup just in case someone pull out.
Next year 2010 World Champs either Guangzhou, Thailand or Australia we will start again for next year
