hmmm...i think it will b better to have a 6V receiver batt to power the fan rather than connect up 2 the 7.2V batt...

i ve jus got the cooling fan & heatsink. it comes complete in 1 set.have to go to 1 of those comp shop to get it, s jus less than RM20 each set!,. s just about the size of an ESC. guys said they used that to cool down the chipset for the PC Display card.

so its rather small, and its detachable. u can choose to unscrew the fan off the heatsink if u dont want it there. Fan is optimized by a 12V DC. I have tried that with a 9V Cell, and the speed of the fan is adequate enuf to cool down the TP-M8 during runtime.

but the thing down is, i guess; the weight of the car just increased by lets say, 30gram?..i m thinkin hard, whats the best way to deal with this.

30g shouldn't be much of a problem...
unless your car is really heavy to begin with in the first place...

i think the stuff u want to put on WILL weigh more than 30g's.
for cars like mine(tc3) and like the xxx-s u will have weight problems.

quite true.
change to graphite n although it weighs less,it breaks easily also.
the rite angle n impact can break any part of it,especially graphite.

Ic, mines Carbon Graphite car,..guess this wont weigh much?..the good news is,.the fan manage to cool off the ESC even after 15mins of runnin! but then; the motor still have to be cooled down after 15mins, this is to improve the lifetime of the motor. any1 agree on this??..

never run a hot motor...
i always cool down my motor to almost room temp.
not just motor life, but also battery life.
too much heat can destroy the magnets.

Yup all this tips ive got it from Thomas. the magnet sure die fast if its too hot! , as i know; the battery's memory s goin to be affected if u still run em under hot temp.

yeah, tat time i did try out a run with my gang... i din't let my motor cool down & just ran with my gang who had already cooled their cars for about 20+mins... my batt life was significantly lesser than them...

I lost the punch much faster than anticipated...

So the morale of the story is, except for the batt, run your car COOL...
