EP: Fan for motor cooling
#136
hmmm...i think it will b better to have a 6V receiver batt to power the fan rather than connect up 2 the 7.2V batt...

so its rather small, and its detachable. u can choose to unscrew the fan off the heatsink if u dont want it there. Fan is optimized by a 12V DC. I have tried that with a 9V Cell, and the speed of the fan is adequate enuf to cool down the TP-M8 during runtime.
but the thing down is, i guess; the weight of the car just increased by lets say, 30gram?..i m thinkin hard, whats the best way to deal with this.

since u r running the fan on the car,i guess u wun b joining races with it.30g is ok i guess...

30g shouldn't be much of a problem...
unless your car is really heavy to begin with in the first place...

use a 6V receiver batt and it should be lighter.
hmmm...
xxxs got any weight problem mah?...
mayb bcos it does not have any/much carbon parts, tat's y it is slightly heavier...

quite true.
change to graphite n although it weighs less,it breaks easily also.
the rite angle n impact can break any part of it,especially graphite.

i think the stuff u want to put on WILL weigh more than 30g's.
for cars like mine(tc3) and like the xxx-s u will have weight problems.

I lost the punch much faster than anticipated...
So the morale of the story is, except for the batt, run your car COOL...

yeah, tat time i did try out a run with my gang... i din't let my motor cool down & just ran with my gang who had already cooled their cars for about 20+mins... my batt life was significantly lesser than them...
