So what's the moral of the story Master X? Join the darkside and go for GP cars?

Say wouldn't GP give more vibration than EP? Electrical noise maybe EP more but for physical vibration, GP should be worse right?

<oh here I go again with GP >

If you're down in KL/PJ, lots of people run HRS. If you're down here, I would not mind helping you or your friend out with my own radio.

Gp cars give out lower frequency vibration than EP which you can feel. Ep motor generate higher pitch vibration then the GP which in my opinion is bad for the RX crystal!, as this crystal needs to vibrate intune with the TX crystal signals in order for it to work.

Did he get his 29MHz crystal bundled with the 3PK? Is his HRS Rx or Tx module really made for the 29MHz? Or is he using a 27MHz Tx module / HRS Rx with a 29MHz crystal?

Radios, servos and receivers are generally cheap in Japan. Cheaper than Singapore but HK tops it all out.

Akihabara is where all electronic shops culminate. It's like Wanchai in HK for computers. But that is the place where you also get RC shops too. RC shops in Akihabara are about 5 or 6 shops if I'm not mistaken. The major RC shops in Japan are huge. They are like RC shops Kwong Wah Street in HK but just that in Tokyo, they are bigger like a shopping complex with a few floors worth of RC things !!

Are you sure one day is sufficient?

If you're into planes and helis, Japan is THE place. In HK, cars are more popular. I had not come across helis and planes in HK... Perhaps they are not located around the shops I visited.
