According to my friend, they do not have those dean plugs that one requires in RC. I would not know if Tamiya plugs are also available. When I was there the first time, they did not have the Rx Futaba style plug for the receiver pack but now they do. Best is to call them.
Yes, their soldering job is EXCELLENT !
They shink wrap for you and spot weld the packs for free. Perhaps you can bring your own plugs and have them do it.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep it in mind if I need any for EP (if I ever venture into that
). Perhaps then something newer will come out.
Ummm, in that case, Menara Genesis would not be so suitable as they only have Sanyo cells... They don't carry GP batteries from what I know.

They're selling RM45/cell? Even I order all the way from Hong Kong doesn't cost that much.
For that kind of price I'll rather buy match packs
