I'm using stock brake pads and disks for my new Hyper ST pro truggy, i found that the brake is so poor to stop these big wheels, so nervous to bring it to stop.. does anybody know where can I find fiberglass disks? I think with fiber disks with metal pads, they are suppose to perform better.

eerrr.....it that just the same ?? stock pads has fiber material glued to it and the disc being metal, fiber disc and metal pads is just the same material accept on different side of the brake system
take the disc and pad off the center and scoure on the tarmac or on sand paper should help. If you slot the disc with dremel I believe it will enhance your braking feel.
My ex GS Truggy didnt have any problem locking all 4 wheels on high speed straights, 13kg servoi and the right tension on the brake linkages.

Think whatyou really need is to adjust the braking on the braking bar at your servo there if that is what you call it.Like other bros mention a little of sanding is also good.
Hi TeeKuang, other than EPA, have you checked the brake pad itself? There are times when grease and fuel seeps through the centre diff mount and then to the brake pads. Hence, the fibre brake pads absorbs the oils, thus making it less effective. It happened to me before.
But if that's not your case.....it's quite a mystery
that expensive? how much of an improvement does it give?
that's why i'm asking
coz what i'm aiming is around RM300
also is super duper ultra cosmos powerfull engine important ?
lot of guys i've meet said that..
as long as the engine can run for the entire race
and can overcome the obsticle ( bumps and jumps )
without flaming out that easily it is good enough
bcoz in order to win the race u must finish the race kan( ayat redenzo )

Thanks for repy, Yes, the stock brake pad is fiber (look like asbestos) with some cooper particle glued to it, not satisfied with the braking performance, it's getting worse when it heat up. I'm looking for fiberglass disk, according to hst drivers, the perform alot better than stock one.
The stock disks already slotted and i'm using 12KG servo.

Already done that... extended the brake lever, almost touching spur gear now, and i'm using the hole that is closer to servo.

Yep, no oil or grease..
My local hobby shop said it's normal for Hyper ST, the braking performance poor due to heavy weight and oversized wheels. He recommended me to use 4 disks setup.

I was at the track of titiwangsa offroad for warming up of my engine together with a fren hehehe also warming up his JP engine. Was always told that too fast an engine for us beginner is no good but saw what it can really do when i was there warming up the engine. My fren broke the shock tower which seems so impossible to me even made the screw and shock spring crooked.here are the pictures of the broken shock tower and the engine pic.I was told by sifu to always handle our fingers nicely and never ram the engine to the full.
The broken shock tower.(pls don't drink and drive heheheh)
The engine that cause the damage.(sure so damn powerful)
titiwangsa track?
nasib baik tak overshoot masuk dalam kedai makan sebelah track tu
OCM KL team sudah start buat preparation for the 2nd round MNL race ke ?
tak bule jadi ni
tell your buddy pakai hyper kepala biru like me la abng oriongoh
then sudah ada more track time/xperience baru
bule switch to that JP kepala biru
