Default MNC 2008 schedule

they are listed as tentative but i think they are quite right.

April 2008

July 2008

12th & 13th -MNC 2008 EP 1/10 Touring & M-Chassis Rd 2, Titiwangsa

November 2008

if everyone sends in enuf mandarin orange to bigguy we might be seeing...

adjustable 23T motors in novice category; replacing older fixed timing since more motor makers are going en-route of latest yokomo/checkpoint endbell.

23T-equivalent brushless motors in sportsman category

and Lipos....pending IFMAR clearance! Yeaaa...no more baby-sitting batt packs

for those who enjoy the regular nimh maintenance.... go get some 4600mah to boot!

guys please confirm about the lipo early because if confirmed late, then some drivers without much money like me have to suddenly fork out larga amounts of money to buy lipo batteries and charges just to stay competetive.its better to know early so that isntead of spending our money to buy NimH for the coming race, we can straight away go for the lipos.

Default lipo

Im using VXR 3600 with the cheap Imax B5 charger/balancer. Ok so far considering I cant use the larger 4800/5000 Mah packs due to batt tray space constraint of the MRE. (ex abg Azman's car). There are some guys using the 5000 Mah Yuontong (did I spell this correctly?) here with no issue and they are quite cheap. Orions are more expensive but may be better in terms of quality. Performance wise Im not sure.

For M chassis...most of the guys here are using the VXR 3600 with no major modification needed ont he battery tray but may need to put some sponge inside to better fit the battery in place.

maybe for your situation its ok, you can buy new cars and batteries, at this moment you have not heard, but if suddenly lipo is allowed a month before the race, we would see it used by those who can afford it instantly, i have seen the performance of lipos, it is much better than any Nimh out now. then people like me who bought another 2 packs of Nimh, suddenly find that i am not competetitive anymore. if announced early, then we can budget our expenses to go for the lipos, the question is, maybe rm500 isnt much to you, but its a lot to me and some other people.
