Normally, I buy things from RCTech, I will arrange my own courier service to collect on behalf. So, i guess changes of been conned is lower because I need the seller's address and details for my courier service. One more thing I normally take note is the number of posts that the seller have in the forum. I will not deal with those who only have 1 or 2 posts in the forum or so call newbies. Maybe a bit unfair to those really sincere newbies. Hopefully my little advice will help in future.
I also been conned once in www.ebay.com.my but luckily I registered my eBay account in USA so they have the buyer protection scheme and I got full refund from eBay USA but I need to pay USD25 processing fee. Be extra careful when you are dealing with the seller in www.ebay.com.my and www.lelong.com.my. Seller's feedback is really a crucial point.
Those conmen really polluted our RC community online trading reputation.

well, although we cannot eliminate risk but we can find ways to reduce them.

nope..still no reply from him,but i have his addrress so i might ask fren from telekom if there is any home phone number to his address..or i might send a letter to his parents telling them what a scumbag axxhole his son is..i don't care bout the money anymore..he wont get rich with that money..
