Default Nomadio React Thread

Hi Guys:

Just got my Normadio yesterday after strugging in selection for the new controller set which I decided to replace the M8 after three years of usage. Well the first feel is not that great as the Normadio is not as solid as Sanwa or Futaba may be due to the light weight. After setting up and tested for nearly an hour on the track. I feel that Nomadio is lighting fast and my hand is not tire at all after holding for so long. The response is even faster than my previous M8 with Spektrum. Basically I am quite satisfy with the performance of the React and it would be better if the material used and the battery capacity provided is increased.

If I am not mistaken there have been more than 20 drivers out there using the Normadio. Therefore hope you guys may share some of the info, tips and etc of the React in this thread.

Any one found the 4.8V charger for the transmitter so we don't have to take out the battery for charging?

I'm using the sensor, which is a good radio, but like you I found the build could be improved. They appear cheap in my opinion in the way they look when its compared to the Futaba. But overall it performs extremely well. I haven't got any sensors hooked up at the moment, only because im lazy lol.
With my batts I got rid of the supplied AA batt carrier and put in a hump pack. If your looking for transceivers, try A main hobbies in the US, I picked one up for $94USD the other day which is cheap compared to what they are in here in AUS.

Hi Dirtdustingdavo:

i am also lazy to install the temp sensor. The indication of the receiver pack battery level is really cool and I like the feature very much. Now what I need is the higher capacity batt pack for the transmitter set which the original 800mAh is tooo low.

Most of the RC guys here in Malaysia feels the same like you especially come to the build of the transmitter set. Mostly do not have any positive comments at all but negative. But for those who have used and experieced the difference will really love it

I use Duracell 2750 mah AA rechargable batteries that I bought at Wal-mart. I bought 4 packs of 4 AA and I charge them all right before a race with a 15 min charger just in case I may need the extras, but I never do. 1 set of AA with a fresh charge will last all race day.
