Hello friend, check here:

http://www.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/20..._RTR_RED_1.htm

The chassis is metal, but dunno about the plastic parts, strong or easy-to-break plastics..and, the price is around RM800++(at lelong.com.my) if Im not mistaken...

roy amstang 07-22-2007 04:26 AM

Btw, if Im not mistaken, mr Vios have tried this truck before...

sim600 07-22-2007 07:44 AM

Looks fun to tinker with if you like doing custom projects, but if it is RM800, I can think of better ways to spend that money.

It looks really tough but heavy. You will still need spare parts though, I am sure.

Definitely doesn't look like a high performance vehicle straight out of the box

agree with u all expert truggies here on chinese truck. it has to be cheap and guess what... youtube has this guys who modified the mad truck into a CRAWLER.... sim600.. u might wanna check it out bro

awesome!:D

its a heavy truck i must say.... gear design is abit suspect on durability for a monster truck with big motor :D

still WW2 rules in fun factor :ha: (may just get this for CRAWLER project if its cheap like below RM400 RTR)..will check with vios da man.....

ALCW 07-24-2007 04:26 AM

ya.... vios da man has been a guinea pig to chinese monster truck and your feedback was equally helpful and informative. :)

was browsing through the net and found that our fellow aussie and europe RC guys have been bashing HaiBoXing trucks (TL01 copies) left right centre! Because its cheap and can use TL01 parts.... they literally smash their trucks to smitherens!! :ha::eek:

Servo Gear

if i have a cheap servo, can i replace internal servo plastic gear with metal gear?

anomanees 03-11-2009 09:42 AM

I have this this truck. It goes pretty fast with the standard battery, but I recommend to buy 8,4v about 4500mAh battery. The truck really is very simple which makes it easy to adjust. It's also very light and strong so it's really hard to break. The tires and radio are also very good. I recommend you to buy this.
You can find spareparts from gadgetgalaxy.com.au, auctioncityaustralia.com.au, hobbyplanet.co.uk and electronicwarehouse.co.nz.
