Default 2007 / 08 1/8th MNL Buggy and Truggy National Series Race

Guys,

As we speak, we are definitely GOING to run a NATIONAL RACE in 2008, most LHS are positive in respond for what in store for offroad.

Competition class

(1) Open class
(2) Sportman class
(3) Novice class - Strictly for beginners / RTR class
(4) Truggy Open Class
(5) Truggy Sportman class

Subjective

In this case......drivers would feel more at ease in their respective class without the hassle to invest heavily to compete each other in terms of experience......everyone is a WINNER in their own class.....

Final, we would run max 15 drivers: Added excitement.......and challenge to drivers and machine.

Flyers out soon.......

Whether it matters or not, but you got my vote on this. By then my XUT (Terence!!) should be up and running and hopefully can run 2 cars at the same race. Will probably drop dead by the end of the day considering how tiring it was the last race already, but what the hell, it should be fun.

Terence will have to speak to you about RCMRC. Very keen to compete for international races as well.

mcj........

Join the National Series Race next year.......it will be fun filled and not forgetting frustrations and dirty and piss........

Schedule......2008 January..cause year end pack up and new drivers need time and $$$ to build up....so a couple of mths would be good for LHS and players to scout for the best or accordance to their budget......

Hafiz,

Why not ? We will put you into our plans if you are interested.

Maybe the series race will separated into 2 sections, North and South so players wouldn't have to spent a BOMB in traveling and lodging expenses. So top series runners in each section will compete in the year end for grand finale 1 race in selected venue.

Meantime, I haven't come up with a 100% plan yet but the race will be on asap in 2008....a couple of mths of planning is essential.

Track in Kuantan..........ok.this is what I think....for races

1. Electricity is crucial......make sure you have that or else the transponder and PA system doesn't work.........but if you have a good and reliable generator set would be viable.

2. toilet.............s

3. Have look at the track after rain....and see which area could be flooded and make some changes so after rain..the race could go on if you wants too. Very important if you are thinking " Kuantan Open " or whatsoever.

Let everyone knows in Kuantan..............you have the race in mind, and hope to see more drivers join the northern series race.............

Contested class

(1) Open class
(2) Sportman class
(3) Novice class - Strictly for beginners / RTR class
(4) Truggy Open Class
(5) Truggy Sportman class

I will give you the R&R by end of october.............so everyone will have everything plan out.

* This series race is run by RACERS for RACERS..........! *

Default Kuantan Offroad Track

i'll upload the picture a.s.a.p. master danny.

the only thing missing is driver stand.other essential needs we do have it

already. ..

Track condition after very heavy rain i dunno yet la,but if heavy rain pour

around 2 or 3 hours, the location to improve we've mark it already.

just wanna ask u is it very highly important that offroad 1/8 buggy track to

be so silky smooth or bumpy track is acceptable? owner said that

he'll repair the bumpy road before the jump, but to make it silky smooth offroad

track he said and i quote { track bumpy sikit pun tak bule

ke? baru offroad} i hope you all offroad

master/oldtimer/guru know what he meant by saying that la.but no worries,if

everything goes according to improvement on the track is just around the

corner

Wah...........clever already............

Track smooth or bumpy not an issue...........it depends on individual...silky smooth track............allows those powerful engine to perform....at the highest thus making the track fast to drive........bumpy track require more shock setting and throttle control..................

smoothen area before the jump allow the buggy to take off higher and further.........that's the fun part....owner smoothen it.....maybe he wants to go further and higher. In my opinion not wrong.......or else what's the jump for..in the event...bumpy.....the buggy wouldn't be able to launch properly,,,,,,the jump deem useless.

Anyway...during race day...........a smooth track can be wipe out in a matter of hours depends how the soil is water and press. So not much of a difference.

Anyway....in order to lessen work on the track....apply some cement before the jump and in some corners might add a whole new experience to driving.

Below are eg of some silky smooth track and low maintainance track which have concrete bricks......etc to makeup for clay......however clay still 50 percent.....tracks is in Europe and USA.

Normal what...............because offroad is the most difficult to master.......especially the jump.........like I say..." Hobby mah " no venture no gain..........but offroad track strike fear among the best drivers in Malaysia.

Most said " Offroaders are crazy........Americans said - Cool "

Take your pick...............
