Default Question regarding clutch shoes

Hi, I just bought used GS CL-1, I'm still new to off road and i need help here, can Mugen MBX clutch fit into CL-1? one more question, what's the pros and Cons between aluminum and carbon clutch shoes? which one lasts longer?

All 3 shoe clutch are universal and can fit to any buggy. Aluminium clutch shoes give you a lot more accelaration and is very sensitive in response to your trigger control. They tend to wear much faster and needs to be maintained. Carbon clutch is much more lasting and easier to control.

You have to find out the clutch bell inner diameter as they differ from one buggy to the other. If you use aluminium clutch on a mismatched bell you may end up with inefficient clutching action due to the clutch spring and bell clearence causing spring fatique hence loss of tension or the clutch not being able to open up to optimum..............I usually use the whole clutch assembly of a single make.

I didn't reply you yet sorry. I am out of stocks for the GS Carbon clutch. They are RM38. The GS Aluminium Clutch is around rm60 per set.

cant help la..me also facing prob with centax and clutch..my bearing pecah..damn..!
