i think can go 200m max depends on rx batt supply (4.8 or 6volts) and antenna length.thats according to my lhs shop keeper huh!!. but i tried around 100m already no signal.so i guess its around 100m

hahaha.. yeah.. i think +/- 100 meters max.. good thing most of the tracks are within this range. After 100m, still can run, but u risk a "runaway" car.

I tried this near the factory flat PDI posting bay, noticed after 70m response is bad, and glitching. And the crosswind in that area making it difficult to control.

I tested Futaba MJ vs Sanwa MX-3A. Both AM, but Sanwa has VERY LITTLE glitch! (amazing! that shows the radio transmission quality). It went further than the 200m mark, before I begin to notice the car very small (& scorching hot sun), and return back, still in control. I guess it can go further, but didnt try. Too many cars there.

I didn't test FM, went straight to Spektrum

i think around that range also cos the bandwidth is around 27-75mhz for both am n fm.just fm and spectrum higher speed and precision in wave signal.

about PDI posting bay,i have experienced it to.very bad outcome.thats how i crashed and burn my pocket on my last gp car hehe.
