Yea its true.

No matter wat religious a person holds, he or she should believe that sumthin is there and we as humans should respect them.

Imagine u sedang nyenyak tidur suddenly ada orang start lawn mower engine.

Sape tak sakit hati,,,

Guys,

Just be careful with whatever you do out there. I am sure the toy is fun but at time do exercise extreme cautious towards it.

The fun factor and the safety factor is a must there........a spare boat and a life jacket is a must.....if not heard there's a EP rescue tug boat if I am not wrong.......perhaps you may want to invest one or get a group to share the costs....it is a lot safer hobby if you think and have the right equipment.

After all it's just a boat.......I am very concern with the safety issue now.

Danny,

You are right. No matter what, a life jacket is a must eventhough a boat or canoe is available for rescue purpose.

And another precaution to take is whenever you go out for fun especially with family and kids, make sure they are in safe distance from operation rc crafts regardless of cars, helis, planes or boats. And keep kids away from waters too and a close eye on them often.
We just want to have fun.
JMHO.

Hi guys,

Its a terrible thing that happened in Johor, hopefully it will not happen again.

We normally use fishing lines and/or electric boats for rescue purpose.

David is right about keeping an eye on kids especially when running fast boats as if you loose control, the boat can jump the bank and hit someone. Thankfully we havent had this happen, though there was one close shave before.

Lets have fun safely guys, and lets share more advice on being safe.

all boaters should bring fishing tackle and 3 eye trebble.. so u can cast it to get the breakdown boat..no need to swim..safety precautious.. just imagine this boat ramp u like this picture..

i never play plane or heli.. wonder what will happen if it lost control or engine flameout on the air.. who gonna pick it on the sky.. hehe..

Ever heard of a flying incident ?

Helmet:-

Many fliers laugh when you do so.....there's a case when a flyer got lost control of his plane and smack the guy on the head....went into coma and died soon afterwards.

Helicopter:-

Beginner guy couldn't take control his helicopter, copter fly into the car's path and he try struck it down with his arm.....broken arm in the end.

There are many more incident......which goes unreported........

Wow man, i'm surprise that rc boat didn't break into pieces after piercing through that thing.

Btw, I think we should get back to the main objective of why we started this thread. Lets forget about the incident that struck Niko Cheng's brother in law. Its just fate.......

Anyone have any rc boat project they wana share???

hi tpg racer,

glading to hear that u are living in taiping too. During the 80s taiping is a town full of boaters(due to taiping lake maybe), there are still couple of boaters in taiping, it's just that we are not quite active recently(we stop abt 6 months now). I owe 2 boats right now. We are planning to re-hit the lake soon. Maybe we can hv tea sometime.
