hey 29TC, u seem to be familiar with the penang RC scene.
whatever happened to the track opposite the hotel (northam?) near gurney drive? i saw elec TC racers there a few yrs back but since then, the track seemed to be abandoned?
where do PG folks race these days? stadium car parks?

Well, that track is gone. I think the owner of the track could not keep up the rental of that place.
As for Pg racers, they race or play at PISA stadium. They practice on a open parking lot. I think they play almost everyday after 5pm there. And thats for on-road nitro only. As for off-road, it died like few years back.

so in that perspective.. azri is sponsored, the distributors here do sponsor the good drivers.. it's a marketing tool, if a make win lots of races, a lot of hobbyist will probably go for that make..
